    Abstract

    Pemahaman perilaku perjalanan wisata penyandang disabilitas menjadi aspek penting dalam penyelenggaraan pariwisata inklusif. Memiliki karakteristik dan prefrensi perilaku perjalanan wisata yang berbeda dengan non disabilitas, menyebabkan perlunya pendekatan yang lebih kontekstual dan interdisipliner. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perilaku keputusan pariwisata penyandang disabilitas di Jawa Barat melalui pengaruh travel constraints terhadap travel decision yang dimediasi oleh konstruk psikologis learned helplessness, travel self-efficacy dan travel motivation. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cluster sampling yang berasal dari 27 daerah kota dan kabupaten di Jawa Barat, kemudian terdiri dari responden penyandang disabilitas fisik, penyandang disabilitas tuna netra, serta penyandang disabilitas rungu dan wicara. Total sampel penelitian sebanyak 417 responden yang kemudian dilakukan analisis menggunakan pendekatan SEM Amos 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa learned helplessness tidak memediasi pengaruh travel constraints terhadap travel decision. Sebaliknya peran travel self-efficacy dan travel motivation secara signifikan memediasi secara positif dan signifikan pengaruh travel constraints terhadap travel decision. Sehingga model mediasi penelitian menunjukan peran faktor psikologis dalam mereduksi travel constraints serta meningkatkan keputusan partisipasi perjalanan wisata penyandang disabilitas di Jawa Barat. Temuan penelitian memperluas kerangka konseptual dalam kajian perilaku wisata dengan menekankan pentingnya determinan psikologis sebagai faktor kunci yang menjembatani keterbatasan struktural dan keputusan aktual dalam penelitian pariwisata. Kemudian temuan penelitian memberikan pemahaman komprehensif dalam mengidenitifikasi perilaku perjalanan wisata penyandang disabilitas untuk mewujudkan penyelenggaran pariwisata inklusif. Understanding travel behaviour of persons with disabilities is an important aspect of inclusive tourism. Given their distinct characteristics and preferences in travel behaviour compared to non-disabled individuals, a more contextual and interdisciplinary approach is necessary. This study aims to analyse the travel decision-making behaviour of people with disabilities in West Java by examining the influence of travel constraints on travel decisions, mediated by the psychological constructs of learned helplessness, travel self-efficacy, and travel motivation. The research sample was collected using a cluster sampling approach from 27 cities and districts in West Java, consisting of respondents with physical disabilities, visual impairments, and hearing & speech impairments. The total sample size was 417 respondents, and the analysis was conducted using the SEM Amos 23 approach. The results showed that learned helplessness did not mediate the influence of travel constraints on travel decisions. Conversely, travel self-efficacy and travel motivation significantly mediated the positive and significant impact of travel constraints on travel decisions. Thus, the mediation model demonstrated the role of psychological factors in reducing travel constraints and increasing travel participation decisions among people with disabilities in West Java. The research findings expand the conceptual framework in tourism behaviour studies by emphasising the importance of psychological determinants as key factors bridging structural limitations and actual decisions in tourism research. Furthermore, the research findings offer a comprehensive understanding of the travel behavior of people with disabilities to achieve inclusive tourism.
