    Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest archipelagic countries which attracts tourists with its natural, cultural and culinary diversity. With a lot of potential for the development of tourist accommodations, the Special Region of Yogyakarta is a popular destination, particularly the Parangtritis Beach area. In order to provide guests with comfort and promote environmental sustainability, the three star resort in Girijati Village, Gunungkidul Regency, was designed using biophilic architectural principles. Literature reviews, field surveys, precedent studies, and comparative studies are examples of design methodologies. The biomorphic shape of the architectural idea, which was inspired by sea turtles, reflects the preservation and sustainability of the local coastal habitat. A tree pattern is used in the site layout to create a seamless blend between the building and the surrounding landscape. This Villa Resort is expected to be able to meet the needs of tourists by offering unique experiences that support environmental conservation.
