    Abstract

    Pemahaman konsep matematis merupakan kemampuan penting yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Namun, kenyataannya masih banyak siswa sekolah dasar yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep-konsep matematika akibat model dan media pembelajaran tradisional yang kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Oleh karena itu, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa salah satunya dengan cara menerapkan model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media video animaker. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equevalent control grup dan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini membandingkan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes awal (Pre-test) dan tes akhir (Post-test), serta didukung oleh dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media video animaker lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa jika dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media video animaker memberikan pengaruh sebesar 45,5% untuk mempengaruhi peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. ----- Understanding mathematical concepts is an important ability that students must have in learning mathematics. However, in reality there are still many elementary school students who have difficulty in understanding mathematical concepts due to traditional learning models and media that do not actively involve students. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect and improvement of students' understanding of mathematical concepts, one of which is by applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by animaker video media. The method used in this research is quasi experiment with non-equalent control group design and purposive sampling technique. This study compared two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection was carried out through the initial test (Pre-test) and the final test (post-test), and supported by documentation. Based on the research results, the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by animaker video media is more effective in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts when compared to conventional learning. Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by animaker video media gives an influence of 45.5% to influence the increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
