Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh hasil kajian dan pengamatan langsung di SDN Cisalasih Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat, yang menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi pesawat sederhana masih rendah yaitu hanya 13 (46%) siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) 62, dan sisanya 15 (54%) siswa masih di bawah KKM. Banyaknya jenis-jenis pesawat sederhana membuat siswa kebingungan dan tidak memahami perbedaan satu jenis dengan jenis lainnya. Demikian pula cara guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran masih menggunakan cara konvensional dengan hanya menggunakan metode ceramah tanpa melibatkan keaktifan siswa secara langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA materi pesawat sederhana. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Cisalasih yang berjumlah 28 orang. Perolehan nilai siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA materi pesawat sederhana mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 75%. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 92%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model perolehan konsep dalam pembelajaran IPA materi pesawat sederhana dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Perolehan konsep, Hasil belajar This study is based on the results of the study and direct observation in Elementary School of Cisalasih District Lembang West Bandung regency, which shows the results of student learning in science subjects simple machines material is still low at only 13 (46%) students who scored above a minimum completeness criteria (KKM ) 62, and the remaining 15 (54%) of students are still under KKM. The many types of simple machines make students confused and do not understand the differences in the types of the other types. Similarly, teachers in implementing learning how to still use the conventional way by using only the lecture method without involving the direct involvement of the student in learning activities. Based on these problems, the study aims to determine the development of the learning process and the learning outcomes of students in science learning materials simple plane. The method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which adapt the model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart with two cycles. The subjects were fifth grade students of SDN Cisalasih 28 in total. Acquisition scores for students in materials science learning simple machines has increased. In the first cycle, the percentage of students passing grade is 75%. In the second cycle to increase the percentage of students passing grade is 92%. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the application of the concept acquisition in materials science learning simple machines can improve student learning outcomes.
