    Abstract

    Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak kombinasi latihan naik turun tangga dan lompat kijang terhadap peningkatan power atlet Taekwondo. Secara spesifik tujuan penelitian adalah melihat efek dari penerapan kedua metode tersebut yang diberikan selama 16 kali pertemuan selama 6 minggu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian two group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 10 atlet. Untuk mengukur power penelitian ini menggunakan force platform 3D. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) latihan naik turun tangga memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan power taekwondo, 2) latihan lompat kijang memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan power taekwondo, 3) tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara latihan naik turun tangga dan lompat kijang. Keduanya sama-sama memberikan peningkatan power taekwondo. Namun, merujuk pada perbedaan hasil tes awal dan akhir maka latihan lompat kijang lebih memberikan pengaruh power taekwondo. Latihan naik turun tangga dan lompat kijang dapat digunakan sebagai metode untuk meningkatkan power taekwondo. Abstract This study examines the impact of a combination of stair climbing and deer jumping exercises on increasing the power of Taekwondo athletes. Specifically, the purpose of the study was to see the effects of the application of the two methods given for 16 meetings for 6 weeks. The method used in this study was an experiment with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 10 athletes. To measure power, this study used a 3D force platform. The results showed: 1) stair climbing exercises had a significant effect on increasing taekwondo power, 2) deer jumping exercises had a significant effect on increasing taekwondo power, 3) there was no significant difference between stair climbing and deer jumping exercises. Both provide an increase in taekwondo power. However, referring to the difference in the results of the initial and final tests, deer jumping exercises have a greater effect on taekwondo power. Stair climbing and deer jumping exercises can be used as a method to increase taekwondo power.
