Abstract
Dalam tujuh tahun terakhir, jumlah penduduk, kepadatan penduduk, dan laju pertumbuhan penduduk di Kecamatan Tambun Selatan, Kabupaten Bekasi, telah meningkat dengan cepat. Ini menyebabkan banyak alih fungsi lahan, terutama pertanian ke wilayah permukiman dan industri. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menentukan bagaimana dinamika penduduk dan alih fungsi lahan di Kecamatan Tambun Selatan berhubungan satu sama lain. Perubahan tutupan lahan dari 2017 hingga 2024 digambarkan melalui analisis spasial dengan SIG, dan hubungan antara keduanya diukur melalui uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Untuk menganalisis perubahan alih fungsi lahan, data kependudukan dan citra satelit Sentinel-2A digunakan. Data ini diolah menggunakan SIG. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 2017 hingga 2024, luas lahan pertanian di Kecamatan Tambun Selatan mengalami penurunan yang signifikan. Desa-desa dengan populasi yang meningkat seperti Sumberjaya, Setiamekar, Tridayasakti, Mangunjaya, dan Jatimulya mengalami peningkatan terbesar. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan (r = 0,68) antara pertumbuhan penduduk dan alih fungsi lahan (p < 0.05). Studi ini menemukan bahwa pertumbuhan penduduk yang cepat menyebabkan penurunan luas lahan pertanian di Kecamatan Tambun Selatan. Akibatnya, kebijakan tata ruang yang lebih ketat dan pemanfaatan teknologi SIG yang berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk mengimbangi pembangunan dan kelestarian lingkungan. In the past seven years, the population, population density, and population growth rate in Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency, have increased rapidly. This has led to a lot of land conversion, especially agriculture to residential and industrial areas. This study aims to determine how population dynamics and land conversion in South Tambun Sub-district relate to each other. Land cover change from 2017 to 2024 is depicted through spatial analysis with GIS, and the relationship between the two is measured through Pearson Product Moment correlation test. To analyze changes in land use change, population data and Sentinel-2A satellite imagery were used. These data were processed using GIS. The results showed that from 2017 to 2024, the area of agricultural land in South Tambun Sub-district decreased significantly. Villages with increasing population such as Sumberjaya, Setiamekar, Tridayasakti, Mangunjaya, and Jatimulya experienced the largest increase. The correlation test results showed a positive and significant relationship (r = 0,68) between population growth and land use change (p < 0.05). This study found that rapid population growth led to a decrease in agricultural land area in South Tambun Sub-district. Consequently, stricter spatial policies and sustainable utilization of GIS technology are required to balance development and environmental sustainability.
