    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan sistem display nilai tukar cryptocurrency berbasis ESP32 untuk memberikan informasi nilai tukar secara real-time. Adanya fluktuasi harga yang tinggi pada cryptocurrency menekankan perlunya alat pemantau yang dapat menampilkan data dengan cepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem dengan ukuran tampilan yang lebih besar dan pembaruan data yang lebih cepat dibandingkan sistem sebelumnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development, di mana sistem dirancang menggunakan ESP32 sebagai pengendali utama dengan display 7 dan 14 segmen untuk menampilkan simbol dan nilai tukar cryptocurrency. Masing-masing modul display dikendalikan oleh modul HT16K33 dan IC MAX7219. Sistem dilengkapi buzzer untuk notifikasi perubahan harga lebih dari 5%. Data nilai tukar diperoleh melalui Binance API dan diolah menggunakan program yang dikembangkan pada Arduino IDE. Purwarupa dibangun pada PCB double layer berbahan FR4 dengan ukuran 20x30 cm menggunakan metode fabrikasi heatless toner transfer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem ini mampu memperbarui data nilai tukar dengan waktu pembaruan rata-rata sebesar 1,39 detik dan akurasi rata-rata sebesar 99.998%. Pengujian sistem meliputi pengambilan data via API, penampilan data nilai tukar, pengukuran waktu permintaan HTTP, dan waktu pembaruan display. Sistem yang dirancang memberikan performa yang lebih optimal dalam pemantauan perubahan nilai tukar cryptocurrency secara real-time. This research focuses on designing a cryptocurrency exchange rate display system based on ESP32 to provide real-time exchange rate information. The high price fluctuations in cryptocurrency highlight the need of monitoring tool that can display data quickly. The aim of this research is to design a system with a larger display size and faster data updates compared to previous systems. The research method used is research and development, where the system is designed using the ESP32 as the main controller, with 7-segment and 14-segment displays to show cryptocurrency symbols and exchange rates. Each display module is controlled by the HT16K33 module and the MAX7219 IC. The system is equipped with a buzzer for notifications when the price changes by more than 5%. Exchange rate data is obtained through the Binance API and processed using a program developed on the Arduino IDE. The prototype is built on a double-layer FR4 PCB with dimensions of 20x30 cm using the heatless toner transfer fabrication method. The results show that this system can update exchange rate data with an average update time of 1.39 seconds and an average accuracy of 99.998%. System testing includes data retrieval via API, exchange rate data display, HTTP request time measurement, and display update time. The designed system provides optimal performance in monitoring cryptocurrency exchange rate changes in real-time.
