Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan masalah, yaitu tidak sedikit penutur bahasa, khususnya bahasa Sunda yang masih ragu dalam memahami maksud ujaran dari penutur berdasarkan adegan, makna, dan maksim kesopanan yang digunakan dalam komunikasi. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan adegan, makna, dan maksim kesopanan kalimat impositif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Untuk mengumpulkan data digunakan tekhnik studi pustaka dengan menggunakan kartu data sebagai instrument penelitiannya. Data yang sudah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan tekhnik analisis unsur langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam novel Baruang ka nu Ngarora terdapat 187 kalimat impositif (perintah). Ditemukan ada dua bagian pola adegan kalimat impositif, yakni empat pola adegan kalimat impositif sempurna dan lima pola adegan kalimat impositif tidak sempurna, ada sembilan makna kalimat impositif, yakni makna suruhan, permintaan, desakan, harapan, larangan, ajakan, permohonan, pemberian ijin dan anjuran, serta ada enam maksim kesopanan kalimat impositif, yakni maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kedermawanan, maksim pujian, maksim rendah hati, maksim kemufakatan dan maksim simpati. Kata Kunci: kalimat impositif, adegan, makna, maksim kesopanan The background of this research is the problems, it's many speakers a language, especially the speaker Sundanese language are still on doubt of understanding the intent of speech of speakers based on the scene, meaning, and the maxims of politeness used in communication. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and describe the scene, meaning, and the maxims of politeness impositif sentences. The method used in this research is descriptive method. To collect the data used technique the literature study with use the card data as its research instrument. The data has been collected analyzed using the direct element analysis techniques. Based on the results, it can be concluded that in the novel Baruang ka nu Ngarora there are 187 impositif sentence (command). There are found two parts pattern of impositif sentences, four patterns of perfect impositive sentences, five patterns of imperfect impositive sentences, there are nine meanings of impositive sentence, namely the meaning of the messenger, demand, insistence, hope, the ban, solicitation, the request, giving the permit and suggestion, and there are six the maxims of politeness impositive sentence, namely wisdom maxim, generosity maxim, approbation maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim and sympathy maxim.
