Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperluas pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya athletic based coordination training dilakukan pada sebelum lari jarak jauh untuk mendapatkan performa lari yang baik untuk dapat meningkatan kecepatan lari jarak jauh pelari. Yaitu dengan athletic based coordination training gerakan lari dibuat bervariasi dan disusun berdasarkan sistematika berbagai bentuk gerakan kaki dari yang mudah sampai yang sulit (Brown & Ferrigno, 2014). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah “pre test-post test design” dan Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu komunitas Rancaekek Runners, yang berjumlah 10 orang laki-laki yang berusia minimal 18 tahun. Instrumen tes yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah 400 meter control test.Terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari metode Athletic Based Coordination terhadap peningkatan kecepatan lari pada komunitas lari.1) Para pelatih dapat menerapkan metode Athletic Based Coordination guna meningkatkan kecepatan bagi para pelari. 2) Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, penulis berharap agar penelitian ini dapat menjadi sumber referensi yang berguna 3) Pengumpulan data lebih baik memperluas jumlah sampel dari berbagai jenis kelamin, peneliti dapat memperoleh gambaran yang lebih komprehensif tentang perbedaan dan kesamaan dalam kinerja fisik. This study was conducted to broaden public understanding of the importance of athletic based coordination training before long-distance running to obtain good running performance to increase the speed of long-distance runners. Namely, with athletic based coordination training, running movements are varied and arranged based on the systematics of various forms of leg movements from easy to difficult (Brown & Ferrigno, 2014). This study uses a quantitative method with the design used in this study is "pre-test-post-test design" and the population in this study is the Rancaekek Runners community, which consists of 10 men aged at least 18 years. The test instrument used in this study was the 400-meter control test. There is a significant effect of the Athletic Based Coordination method on increasing running speed in the running community. 1) Coaches can apply the Athletic Based Coordination method to increase speed for runners. 2) For further researchers, the author hopes that this study can be a useful reference source 3) Data collection is better to expand the number of samples from various genders, researchers can obtain a more comprehensive picture of the differences and similarities in physical performance.
