ABSTRAK
Ecoliteracy dan kesadaran berkelanjutan (sustainability awareness) terkait perubahan iklim pada siswa SD masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aksi ramah lingkungan terhadap ecoliteracy dan kesadaran berkelanjutan (sustainability awareness) siswa SD dalam konteks perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi-eksperimen, melibatkan siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kabupaten Subang. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara, yang mengutip pendapat siswa tentang pembelajaran yang dilakukan menggunakan LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) dan praktikum dengan metode Guided Inquiry. Partisipan terdiri dari 53 siswa dalam kelompok eksperimen dan 53 siswa dalam kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan skala yang telah divalidasi dan terbukti reliabel melalui pengujian ahli serta uji coba lapangan, untuk mengukur ecoliteracy dan kesadaran berkelanjutan (sustainability awareness) siswa SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang lebih signifikan dalam ecoliteracy terkait perubahan iklim pada kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis aksi ramah lingkungan dibandingkan dengan kelompok yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Selain itu, kesadaran berkelanjutan (sustainability awareness) perubahan iklim juga mengalami peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok yang menjalani pembelajaran aksi ramah lingkungan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbasis aksi ramah lingkungan dapat meningkatkan ecoliteracy dan kesadaran berkelanjutan (sustainability awareness) siswa SD dalam menghadapi isu perubahan iklim.

THE IMPACT OF ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ACTIONS ON STUDENTS' ECOLITERACY AND SUSTAINABILITY AWARENESS REGARDING CLIMATE CHANGE

ABSTRACT
Ecoliteracy and sustainability awareness regarding climate change among elementary school students are still relatively low. This study aims to examine the impact of environmentally friendly actions on the ecoliteracy and sustainability awareness of elementary school students in the context of climate change. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method was used, involving fifth-grade students from a public elementary school in Subang Regency. Additionally, this research uses a qualitative approach with interview methods, which quotes students' opinions about the learning conducted using LKPD (Student Worksheet) and practical work with the Guided Inquiry method. Participants consisted of 53 students in the experimental group and 53 students in the control group. A validated and reliable questionnaire, verified through expert validation and field testing, was employed to measure students' ecoliteracy and sustainability awareness. The results of the study indicated a more significant improvement in climate change-related ecoliteracy in the group of students who participated in environmentally friendly action-based learning compared to the group that followed conventional learning. Additionally, there was a significant increase in climate change sustainability awareness in the group that engaged in environmentally friendly action-based learning compared to the control group. Therefore, environmentally friendly action-based learning can enhance elementary students' ecoliteracy and sustainability awareness in addressing climate change issues.
