Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kontekstualisasi pengembangan kecerdasan budaya berlandaskan kearifan yang secara komprehensif belum terfasilitasi kehadirannya dalam bidang ilmu bimbingan dan konseling. Tujuan penelitian untuk menghasilkan model ethnokonseling berlandaskan kearifan masyarakat Rajapolah untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan budaya mahasiswa yang teruji kelayakannya. Pendekatan mixed method digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Desain exploratoris sequential mixed method digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan bobot utamanya mengeksplorasi fakta dari suatu fenomena dan selanjutnya dilakukan penelitian kuantitatif yang berguna untuk memperkuat temuan. Model ethnokonseling dikembangkan melalui metode penelitian etnografi dengan mengeksplorasi kearifan masyarakat Rajapolah dan dimaknai dengan menggunakan interpretasi hermeneutika budaya. Uji rasional model ethnokonseling menggunakan teknik Delphi yang melibatkan 7 orang pakar dan praktisi. Subjek penelitian adalah masyarakat Rajapolah dan mahasiswa tingkat pertama UMTAS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model ethokonseling berlandaskan kearifan masyrakat Rajapolah telah tervalidasi melalui uji Delphi, sehingga memiliki kelayakan secara rasional untuk digunakan dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan budaya mahasiswa. Simpulan penelitian menguatkan bahwa model ethnokonseling berlandaskan kearifan masyarakat Rajapolah untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan budaya mahasiswa telah teruji dengan memenuhi syarat-syarat pengembangan model secara prosedural. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini ditujukan kepada para praktisi BK di perguruan tinggi dapat menerapkan model ethnokonseling berlandaskan kearifan masyarakat Rajapolah sebagai rujukan pengembangan kompetensi multibudaya mahasiswa dengan fokus pengembangan kecerdasan budaya mahasiswa. Rekomendasi berikutnya ditujukan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitas model ethnokonseling berlandaskan kearifan masyarakat Rajapolah dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan budaya mahasiswa.
The background of this research is the contextualization of developing cultural intelligence based on wisdom that has not been comprehensively facilitated in the field of guidance and counseling. The purpose of the research is to produce an ethnocounseling model based on the wisdom of the Rajapolah community to develop the cultural intelligence of students who have tested their feasibility. A mixed method approach was used in this study. The exploratory sequential mixed method design was used in this research with its main weight exploring the facts of a phenomenon and then conducting quantitative research that is useful for strengthening the findings. The ethnocounseling model was developed through ethnographic research methods by exploring the wisdom of the Rajapolah community and interpreted using cultural hermeneutic interpretation. The ethnocounseling model rational test used the Delphi technique involving 7 experts and practitioners. The research subjects were the Rajapolah community and UMTAS first year students. The results showed that the ethnocounseling model based on the wisdom of the Rajapolah community has been validated through the Delphi test, so that it has rational feasibility to be used in developing students' cultural intelligence. The research conclusion reinforces that the ethnocounseling model based on the wisdom of the Rajapolah community to develop students' cultural intelligence has been tested by fulfilling the requirements of procedural model development. Recommendations from this study are addressed to counseling practitioners in higher education can apply the ethnocounseling model based on the wisdom of the Rajapolah community as a reference for developing students' multicultural competence with a focus on developing students' cultural intelligence. The next recommendation is addressed to further researchers to conduct research aimed at testing the effectiveness of the ethnocounseling model based on the wisdom of the Rajapolah community in developing students' cultural intelligence.
