Abstract

Universitas merupakan tempat bagi pendidikan tingkat tinggi yang berorientasi menciptakan spesialisasi bagi para praktisinya. Termasuk program studi Ilmu Pendidikan Agama Islam (IPAI) UPI yang mengupayakan mahasiswanya untuk dapat menjadi pilar pendidikan di masyarakat terutama dalam hal pendidikan Islam. Dalam masalah tersebut dirasa perlu untuk mengukur mutu lembaga. Salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas mutu tersebut adalah kualitas alumni atau lulusan IPAI. tentunya lulusan IPAI ini tersebar di berbagai daerah dan profesi. Namun dalam penelitian ini, yang menjadi fokus masalah adalah para alumni yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan. Untuk menilai mutu alumni, perlu dilakukan survey dan penelusuran terhadap lembaga pendidikan tempat alumni tersebut bekerja. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kepuasan sebuah lembaga pendidikan terhadap kinerja alumni prodi IPAI UPI. Kepuasan tersebut ditinjau dari empat kompetensi utama bagi seorang pendidik dalam tinjauan kepuasan mutu. Yaitu kompetensi pengetahuan, keterampilan (soft skill), sikap, dan minat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sementara data diolah melalui analisis deskriptif. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan lembaga pada alumni prodi IPAI dalam kompetensi pengetahuan cukup memuaskan, kepuasan lembaga terhadap alumni dalam kompetensi keterampilan sangat memuaskan, kepuasan lembaga terhadap alumni dalam kompetensi sikap sangat memuaskan dan kepuasan lembaga terhadap alumni dalam kompetensi minat dinilai memuaskan. Kesimpulannya, bahwa secara keseluruhan, lembaga pendidikan menilai kinerja alumni IPAI memuaskan dan sangat baik ditinjau dari empat kompetensi yang diharapkan oleh sekolah terhadap alumni prodi IPAI UPI. Kata kunci: kepuasan kinerja, mutu lembaga, kompetensi pendidik University is the site for higher education oriented towards developing specialization for the practitioners. Including in the development is the study program of Islamic Education Science of Indonesia University of Education (UPI) that attempts to develop its students to be the education pillars in the society, ultimately in the field of Islamic education. In this regard, it is perceived to be necessary to measure the institution’s quality. One of the factors that can improve the institution’s quality is the quality of Islamic Education Science study program alumni or graduates. Certainly, graduates of the program are disseminated in various regions and professions. However, this research focused on the alumni working in the field of education. To assess alumni quality, a survey and tracking study have to be conducted to the education institutions where the alumni currently are working. Hence, the research aimed to find satisfaction level of an education institution with the performance of the alumni of Islamic Education Science, UPI. The satisfaction is viewed from four main competencies of an educator in the perspective of quality satisfaction, namely knowledge, soft skills, attitudes, and interest. The method employed in this research was descriptive using quantitative approach, while data were analyzed descriptively. Research results show that the satisfaction level of the education institution with the alumni of Islamic Education Science Study Program in the competency of knowledge was quite satisfactory, the satisfaction level with alumni in the skill competency was very satisfactory, the satisfaction level with the alumni in the competency of attitude was very satisfactory, and the satisfaction level with the alumni in the interest competency was satisfactory. In conclusion, the education institution in general assessed the performance of the alumni of Islamic Education Science Study Program of UPI as very good reviewed from the four competencies expected by the institution from the alumni.
