    Abstract

    Genshin Impact merupakan game open world yang bisa dijelajahi oleh pemain yang memiliki karakter-karakter yang menarik secara fisik maupun kepribadian, serta diminati oleh banyak kalangan. Genshin Impact merupakan game yang memiliki in-game purchase untuk para pemain yang ingin membeli uang in-game untuk melakukan gacha, namun apabila dilakukan secara berlebihan maka itu akan berdampak terhadap individual player Genshin Impact. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan Relasi parasosial dan Kontrol diri terhadap Repurchase Intention pada pemain Genshin Impact dewasa awal dalam melakukan top up. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 650 responden pemain Genshin Impact dewasa awal yang melakukan top up. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik non probability sampling dengan desain studi korelasional. Peneliti menerjemahkan dan mengadaptasi skala Multiple Parasocial Relationship Scale yang dibuat oleh Tukachinsky (2010) serta Costumer Spending Self Control yang dibuat oleh Haws et al (2011), dan mengadaptasi Repurchase Intention dari skala yang dibuat Ningsih (2020). Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pearson Correlation dengan menggunakan SPSS v27. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara variabel Relasi parasosial dan variabel Repurchase Intention. Tetapi, tidak terdapat hubungan antara variabel Kontrol diri dengan variabel repurchase intention.

    Genshin Impact ins an Open World RPG game, an open world game that can be explored by players, has characters that are phisycally and personally attractive, and is loved by many people. Genshin Impact is a game that has in-game purchases for players who want to buy in-game money to do gacha, but if done excessive;y it will have an impact on individual Genshin Impact players. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between Parasocial Relationship and Self Control on Repurchase Intention in young adult Genshin Impact players in making Top Up. This study uses quantitative method with a total of 650 participants of Genshin Impact players who makes top ups. The technique used is a non-probability sampling technique with a correlational study design. The researcher translated and adapted the Multiple Parasocial Relationship Scale created by Tukachinsky (2010) and Costumer Spending Self Control created by Haws et al (2011), and adapted Repurchase Intention created by Ningsih (2020). The analysis method used in this studi is Pearson Correlation using SPSS v27. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between Parasocial Relationship and Repurchase Intention but there was no relationship between Self Control and Repurchase Intention.
