Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dampak pengembangan wisata pada kehidupan ekonomi dan sosial budaya dalam suatu masyarakat. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah bertempat pada Desa Jelekong, Kecamatan Baleendah, Kabupaten Bandung. Desa Jelekong ini memiliki keunggulan menjadi desa wisata. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berusaha mendeskripsikan (1) potensi wisata yang dimiliki oleh Desa Wisata Jelekong; (2) program pengembangan desa wisata di desa Jelekong; (3) dampak pengembangan desa wisata terhadap ekonomi masyarakat desa Jelekong; (4) dampak pengembangan desa wisata terhadap sosial budaya masyarakat desa Jelekong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang disertakan dengan metode deskriptif. Kemudian, untuk pengumpulan data penelitian ini melakukan suatu observasi, wawancara, dan teknik dokumentasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga berfokus pada partisipan karena membutuhkan seorang informan dalam menggali informasi mengenai dampak pengembangan wisata terhadap kehidupan ekonomi dan sosial budaya pada masyarakat desa Jelekong.
This research is motivated by the impact of tourism development on the economic and socio-cultural life of a society. The object of this research is located in Jelekong Village, Baleendah District, Bandung Regency. Jelekong village has the advantage of being a tourist village. Therefore, this study attempts to describe (1) the tourism potential of tourist village Jelekong; (2) tourism village development program in Jelekong; (3) the impact of developing a tourist village on the economic of the Jelekong village community; (4) the impact of developing a tourist village on the socio-cultural of the Jelekong village community. This study uses a qualitative approach that is included with a descriptive method. Then, for data collection, this research conducted an observation, interview, and documentation technique. In addition, this study also focuses on participants because it requires an informant to dig up information about the impact of tourism development on the economic and socio-cultural life of the Jelekong village community.
