Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan di lapangan mengenai terbatasnya media pengenalan kearifan lokal Jawa Barat pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Dalam pembelajaran pendidikan anak usia dini, media pembelajaran sangat penting digunakan karena dapat menarik minat dan motivasi peserta didik terhadap kegiatan belajar. Hal ini didukung oleh wujud dari media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan dapat mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, peneliti mengembangkan media flap-busy book untuk pengenalan kearifan lokal Jawa Barat pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan EDR (Educational Design Research). Prosedur penelitian mengikuti model McKenney & Reeves yang terdiri dari tahap analisis dan eksplorasi (analysis and exploration), tahap desain dan konstruksi (design and construction), tahap evaluasi dan refleksi (evaluation and reflection), dan tahap kelayakan produk. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, angket, dan validasi ahli. Pelaksanaan uji coba tahap 1 dilaksanakan di TK Al Husainiyyah dan uji coba tahap 2 dilaksanakan di TK Al-Qolam. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari data uji coba, produk media flap-busy book untuk pengenalan kearifan lokal Jawa Barat telah berhasil dikembangkan dan memenuhi kriteria sangat efektif untuk digunakan oleh anak usia 5-6 tahun, serta hasil respon guru terkait pengembangan media flap-busy book sangat baik dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. This research is motivated by the problems found in the field regarding the limited media for introducing West Javanese local wisdom to children aged 5-6 years. In early childhood education, learning media is very important to use because it can attract students' interest and motivation towards learning activities. This is supported by the form of learning media that is fun and can be easily understood by students. In this regard, the researcher developed a flap-busy book media for introducing West Javanese local wisdom to children aged 5-6 years. This study uses the EDR (Educational Design Research) development research method. The research procedure follows the McKenney & Reeves model which consists of the analysis and exploration stage, the design and construction stage, the evaluation and reflection stage, and the product feasibility stage. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, documentation studies, questionnaires, and expert validation. The implementation of the first phase of the trial was carried out at Al Husainiyyah Kindergarten and the second phase of the trial was carried out at Al-Qolam Kindergarten. Based on the results of the analysis of the trial data, the flap-busy book media product for the introduction of West Java local wisdom has been successfully developed and meets the criteria of being very effective for use by children aged 5-6 years, and the results of teacher responses related to the development of the flap-busy book media are very good and can be used in the learning process.
