Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku kecurangan akademik, fear of failure, lingkungan teman sebaya dan motivasi belajar, serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh fear of failure, lingkungan teman sebaya dan motivasi belajar terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik mahasiswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Akuntansi FPEB UPI menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 183 mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi FPEB UPI angkatan 2020, 2021, 2022 dan 2023. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner. Data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi multipel. Sedangkan pengujian hipotesis untuk menguji keberartian regresi adalah menggunakan uji F dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fear of failure berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik, artinya semakin tinggi fear of failure maka semakin tinggi perilaku kecurangan akademik. Lingkungan teman sebaya tidak berpengaruh terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik, artinya lingkungan teman sebaya tidak dapat menerangkan perilaku kecurangan akademik. Adapun motivasi belajar berpengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik, artinya semakin tinggi motivasi belajar maka semakin rendah perilaku kecurangan akademik. This research aims to determine the description of academic cheating behavior, fear of failure, peer environment and learning motivation, as well as to find out how fear of failure, peer environment and learning motivation influence students' academic cheating behavior. Research conducted on students of the UPI FPEB Accounting Education Study Program used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample for this research was 183 FPEB UPI Accounting Education students class 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Data collection used the questionnaire method. Data were processed using multiple regression analysis. Meanwhile, hypothesis testing to test the significance of regression is using the F test and t test. The research results show that fear of failure has a positive effect on academic cheating behavior, meaning that the higher the fear of failure, the higher the academic cheating behavior. The peer environment has no effect on academic cheating behavior, meaning that the peer environment cannot explain academic cheating behavior. Meanwhile, learning motivation has a negative effect on academic cheating behavior, meaning that the higher the learning motivation, the lower the academic cheating behavior.
