Abstract

Lobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus) merupakan jenis udang yang memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi, namun pertumbuhan lobster air tawar yang lambat diperlukan adanya percepatan pertumbuhan dan stimulasi molting, karena semakin sering lobster mengalami molting, maka pertumbuhan semakin cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak bayam (Amaranthus tricolor) dalam menstimulasi molting dan mempercepat pertumbuhan lobster air tawar dengan metode injeksi dalam waktu pemeliharaan selama 30 hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan masing- masing 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan kontrol dengan dosis injeksi ekstrak bayam 0 ml/BB, (P1) 0,01 ml/BB, (P2) 0,03 ml/BB dan (P3) 0,05 ml/BB. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA dengan bantuan SPSS 29.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh signifikan dalam menstimulasi molting dan percepatan pertumbuhan pada lobster air tawar pada perlakuan P3 dengan dosis 0,05 ml/BB dengan jumlah molting 20 kali, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 3,05 ± 0,15cm, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 6,88 ± 0,95gr, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 3,75 ± 0,30 , Food conversion rate (FCR) 0,65 ± 0,17, kelangsungan hidup 100% . Freshwater lobsters (Cherax quadricarinatus) are a type of shrimp that have high economic value, but the slow growth of freshwater lobsters requires accelerated growth and stimulation of molting, because the more frequently the lobster molts, the faster the growth. This research aims to determine the effect of spinach (Amaranthus tricolor) extract in stimulating molting and accelerating the growth of freshwater lobsters using the injection method for a maintenance period of 30 days. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications each. Control treatment with injection dose of spinach extract 0 ml/BB, (P1) 0,01 ml/BB, (P2) 0,03 ml/BB and (P3) 0,05 ml/BB. Data analysis used ANOVA with the help of SPSS 29.0. The results of the research showed that the treatment that had a significant effect in stimulating molting and accelerating growth in freshwater crayfish in the P3 treatment was a dose of 0,05 ml/BB with a number of molts 20 times, absolute length growth of 3,05 ± 0,15 cm, absolute weight growth of 6, 88 ± 0,95 gr, Specific growth rate 3,75 ± 0,30, Food Conversion Rate (FCR) 0,65 ± 0,17, survival 100%.
