Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh menurunnya nilai perusahaan subsektor konstruksi bangunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018 – 2022. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran nilai perusahaan yang diukur dengan Price to Book Value (PBV), profitabilitas yang diukur dengan Return on Equity (ROE), dan ukuran perusahaan diukur dengan logaritma natural total aset. Serta menguji pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan ukuran perusahaan sebagai variabel moderasi. Sebanyak 15 perusahaan subsektor konstruksi bangunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018-2022 menjadi sampel penelitian, diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dan verifikatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah (1) Analisis Regresi Data Panel (2) Uji Hipotesis meliputi Uji F, Uji R2, dan Uji t. (3) Uji moderated regression analysis (MRA). Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif, nilai perusahaan mengalami penurunan dari tahun ke tahun, profitabilitas mengalami fluktuasi dengan tren menurun, dan ukuran perusahaan mengalami fluktuasi dengan kecenderungan stagnan. Berdasarkan uji F, profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Berdasarkan uji t, profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan serta ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Berdasarkan uji MRA, ukuran perusahaan dapat memperlemah pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan dan ukuran perusahaan termasuk dalam variabel moderasi semu. This research is motivated by the decline in the value of building construction subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of the value of the company proxied by PBV, the profitability proxied by ROE, and the size of the company measured by the total asset lognatural. As well as examining the influence of profitability on company value with company size as a moderation variable. A total of 15 building construction subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period became research samples, taken using the purposive sampling. The methods used in this study are descriptive and verifiable. The data analysis techniques used are (1) Data Panel Regression Analysis (2) Hypothesis Test includes Test F, Test R2, and Test t. (3) Test moderated regression analysis (MRA). Based on the results of descriptive analysis, company value has decreased from year to year, profitability has fluctuated with a downward trend, and company size has fluctuated with a stagnant trend. Based on the F test, profitability and company size have a positive and significant effect on the company's value. Based on the t-test, profitability has a positive and significant effect on the company's value and the size of the company has a positive and significant effect on the company's value. Based on the MRA test, company size can weaken the influence of profitability on company value and company size is included in the Quasi Moderator variable.
