Abstract
Penerapan Metode Role Playing dalam Materi Perjuangan Para Tokoh dalam Mempersiapkan Kemerdekaan Indonesia untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Belajar Siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) materi Perjuangan Para Tokoh dalam Mempersiapkan Kemerdekaan Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana keaktifan belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode Role Playing. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V A SDN 1 Cikidang tahun ajaran 2013-2014 yang berjumlah 28 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart (Wiriaatmadja, 2005). Setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes, dan kuiseoner. Hasil pengamatan pra siklus menunjukkan bahwa kekatifan belajar siswa hanya mencapai 33,93%, berada pada kategori Kurang. Pada siklus I keaktifan meningkat menjadi 67,85% berada pada kategori Baik dan pada siklus II meningkat kembali menjadi 83,03% berada pada kategri Baik Sekali. This research is motivated by the low activity of the learning of students in the Social Studies material in Preparing Leaders Struggle for Indonesian Independence. This study examines how active student learning using Role Playing. The subjects of this study were 5th grade students of SDN 1 Cikidang 2013-2014 school year, amounting to 28 people. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model (Wiriaatmadja, 2005). Each cycle includes action planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collected through observation, tests, and kuiseoner. The results showed that pre-cycle observations of student motivation only reaches 33.93%, in the category of Less. In the first cycle the activity increased to 67.85% in the good category and the second cycle increased to 83.03% at Very Good category.
