    Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in the influence of Audiovisual media and
Powerpoint media on creative thinking in the Discovery Learning learning model at
SMAN 22 Bandung. The research method used is Quasi Experimental with Nonequivalent
Control Group Design. The research instruments included tests and questionnaires. The
research population includes students of class XI with 12 classes, and the samples used
are class XI-3 as the experimental class and XI-5 as the control class. Based on the results
of the study, it is evident that Audiovisual media has a more significant impact in
improving students' creative thinking skills compared to Powerpoint media. This can be
seen from the comparison of test results between the experimental class using Audiovisual
media and the control class using Powerpoint media. The use of Audiovisual media in the
Discovery Learning model is recommended to teachers to be applied in the geography
learning process in order to encourage innovation and active learning.
