Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji efektifitas bermain tanah liat dalam meningkatkan
keterampilan motorik halus anak usia dini. Masih banyak anak yang saat ini keterampilan motorik
belum terstimulasi dengan baik dikarenakan minimnya metode pembelajaran yang diberikan guru.
Keterampilan motorik halus menjadi suatu stimulasi yang penting untuk anak agar tidak terhambat
perkembangan anak yang lainnya. Tanah liat menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran berbasis natural
untuk perkembangan motorik halus anak bisa optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan
kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Pre-eksperimen dengan one-group pretest-posttest test design.
Populasi pada penelitian ini berasal dari TK di kota Bekasi dengan jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini
sejumlah 32 anak antara usia 5-6 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi. Teknik
analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis statistik parametrik. Hasil penelitian yang didapat
ditemukan perbedaan antara rata-rata pretest dan posttest. Data didapatkan hasil rata-rata pretest
55,78 dan postes 92,81. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bermain tanah liat Plered efektif untuk
mengembangkan perkembangan motorik halus anak. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat
menjadi acuan untuk program pembelajaran kedepannya untuk meningkatkan perkembangan motorik
halus yang anak miliki.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of playing clay in improving fine
motor skills of early childhood. There are still many children whose motor skills are currently not
well stimulated due to the lack of learning methods provided by the teacher. Fine motor skills become
an important stimulation for children so that other children's development is not hampered. Clay
becomes one of the natural-based learning media for children's fine motor development can be
optimal. This study used a quantitative approach with a Pre-experiment research method with a onegroup pretest-posttest test design. The population in this study came from kindergartens in Bekasi
city with a total sample of 32 children between the ages of 5-6 years. The instrument used is an
observation sheet. The data analysis technique used is parametric statistical analysis. The results of
the research obtained found differences between the average pretest and posttest. The data obtained
the average results of the pretest 55.78 and posttest 92.81. The results showed that playing Plered
clay is effective for developing children's fine motor development. With this research, it is expected to
be a reference for future learning programs to improve the development of fine motor skills that
children have.
