Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Parent Attachment dan Peer Attachment terhadap Penyesuaian Sosial pada Mahasiswa Perantau di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 405 mahasiswa perantau yang berkuliah di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik ini menjelaskan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda untuk melihat besarnya pengaruh Parent Attachment dan Peer Attachment terhadap Penyesuaian Sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Parent Attachment dan Peer Attachment memiliki pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap Penyesuaian Sosial pada Mahasiswa Perantau di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia; (2) Parent Attachment berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Penyesuaian Sosial dengan arah korelasi positif; (3) Peer Attachment berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Penyesuaian Sosial dengan arah korelasi positif.

This research aims to determine the influence of Parent Attachment and Peer Attachment on the Social Adjustment of Migrant Students at the Indonesian University of Education. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The respondents in this research were 405 migrant students studying at the Indonesian University of Education. The sample in this study was selected using a purposive sampling technique. This technique describes sampling based on predetermined criteria. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis to see the magnitude of the influence of Parent Attachment and Peer Attachment on Social Adjustment. The results of this research show that: (1) Parent Attachment and Peer Attachment have a high influence on the Social Adjustment of Migrant Students at the Indonesian University of Education; (2) Parent Attachment has a significant effect on Social Adjustment with a positive correlation; (3) Peer Attachment has a significant effect on Social Adjustment with a positive correlation.
