Abstract
Jawa Barat merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang memiliki persebaran kawasan lindung. Kawasan lindung di Jawa Barat dibagi menjadi 2 jenis yaitu kawasan lindung hutan dan kawasan lindung non hutan. Kawasan lindung hutan terdiri dari cadangan hutan lindung, hutan konservasi, hutan lindung, konservasi laut dan sebagainya. Kawasan lindung non hutan terdiri dari bahaya gunung api, penyangga hutan lindung, perlindungan geologi, rawan gerakan tanah, daerah resapan air dan sebagainya. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, pertumbuhan penduduk dari tahun ke tahun cukup pesat telah menyebabkan terjadinya pemanfaatan lahan di kawasan lindung secara tidak tepat dan bersifat merusak ketatanan kawasan lindung. Kondisi kerusakan kawasan lindung di Indonesia termasuk kawasan lindung di Jawa Barat saat ini telah menjadi keprihatinan banyak pihak secara nasional maupun internasional. Fenomena alih fungsi lahan dari kawasan lindung menjadi pemukiman, pertanian, pertambangan, industri dan fasilitas sosial pendukung lainnya harus segera diatasi. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, kita harus tahu seberapa besar rincian perubahan penggunaan lahan dari kawasan lindung menjadi hal yang tersebut diatas dan di daerah mana saja kondisi kawasan lindung yang rusak dan tidak rusak. Setelah kita tahu rincian luas dan lokasinya maka kita bisa melakukan tindakan antisipasi perbaikan terhadap kawasan lindung yang rusak dan pencegahan untuk kawasan lindung yang masih bagus dan terjaga. Untuk mengetahui data rincian luas dan tempat penggunaan lahan di kawasan lindung kita bisa memanfaatkan software Arc GIS menggunakan teknik overlay. Kita bisa memanfaatkan tool – tool di overlay seperti: tool intersect , untuk mengetahui data rincian dan tempat penggunaan lahan di kawasan lindung hutan dan non hutan. Kata Kunci: Jawa Barat, Jenis Kawasan Lindung di Jawa Barat, Kondisi Kawasan Lindung Hutan dan Non Hutan Jawa Barat, Teknik Overlay West Java is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has spread of protected areas. Protected areas in West Java are divided into 2 types, those are forest protected areas and non-forest protected areas. Forest protected area consists of protection forest reserves, conservation forest, protection forest, marine conservation, and so on. Non – forest protected area consists of volcanic hazards, protection forest buffering, geological protection, ground movement dangerous areas, water catchment areas and so on. Along with the times, the population growth over the years a fairly rapid has caused land use in protected areas is inappropriate and destructive protected areas. Damage condition of protected areas in Indonesia, including protected areas in West Java has now become the concern of many parties both nationally and internationally. The phenomenon of land conversion from protected areas into residential, agricultural, mining, industrial and other supported social facilities must be solved immediately. To overcome this problem, we need to know how much land use change details of protected areas into things mentioned above and in which areas protected area damaged condition and is not damaged. After we know the details of the vast and location so we can take action in anticipation of repairs to the damaged protected areas and for the prevention of protected areas those are still good and nature. To know the details of the data and the extensive use of land in protected areas we can utilize Arc GIS software by using overlay technique. We can utilize overlay tools such as: Intersect tool, this tool has function to determine the details of the data and the land use areas in forest and non – forest protected areas.
