Abstract

SMK Bina Wisata Lembang masih menggunakan sistem pencatatan tamu manual, yang memiliki sejumlah kekurangan seperti ketidakefisienan, kehilangan data, dan pengelolaan data. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara dengan petugas penerima tamu, masalah pencatatan tamu saat ini berdampak pada keamanan dan operasional sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi buku tamu berbasis Microsoft Access yang diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dan meningkatkan efisiensi serta efektivitas pencatatan tamu di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahap: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Tahap analisis terdiri dari identifikasi masalah dan kebutuhan pengguna. Pada tahap desain, dilakukan pembuatan rancangan awal aplikasi, flowchart, dan storyboard. Tahap pengembangan meliputi pembuatan produk, validasi oleh ahli, dan revisi produk. Implementasi dilakukan dengan uji coba kepada pengguna, dan Evaluasi dilakukan perbaikan produk berdasarkan hasil penilaian pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi buku tamu berbasis Microsoft Access sangat layak digunakan berdasarkan validasi ahli dan uji coba pengguna. Aplikasi ini terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pencatatan data tamu, mengurangi waktu pengelolaan data, serta meminimalkan kesalahan dan kehilangan data. SMK Bina Wisata Lembang currently uses a manual guest book system, which has several drawbacks such as inefficiency, data loss, and poor data management. Based on observations and interviews with the reception staff, the current guest recording system impacts the school's security and operations. This study aims to develop a Microsoft Access-based guest book application to address these issues and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of guest recording at the school. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The analysis stage involves identifying problems and user needs. In the design stage, the initial application design, flowchart, and storyboard are created. The development stage includes product creation, expert validation, and product revision. Implementation is carried out through user trials, and evaluation involves product improvement based on user feedback. The results of the study indicate that the Microsoft Access-based guest book application is highly feasible for use based on expert validation and user trials. This application has proven to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of guest data recording, reduce data management time, and minimize errors and data loss.
