Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran nyata mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keterlambatan penyelesaian studi mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan teknik mesin FPTK UPI, dimana ada dua faktor yaitu faktor internal (faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri seorang tersebut) dan faktor eksternal (faktor yang berasal dari luar seorang tersebut). Faktor internal dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kecerdasan, motivasi, minat, bakat, kelelahan dan kesehatan, sedangkan faktor eksternal terdiri dari fasilitas belajar, lingkungan kampus, teman bergaul, lingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan tempat tinggal. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dan penyajian dalam bentuk persentase. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 21 mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan teknik mesin angkatan 2007. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dengan analisis statistik deskriptif persentase.

This research aims to know the real picture about the factors that affect the delay of completion of studies students majoring education of mechanical engineering FPTK UPI, where there are two factors which are internal factors (factor that comes from within yourself) and external factors (factors which come from outside). Internal factors in this study consist of smarts, motivating, interests, talents, fatigue and health, while external factors consists of learning facilities, campus environment, friends hang out, family environment and neighbourhood. This research method using descriptive and research methods of presentation in the form of a percentage. The sample in this research was a student majoring in mechanical engineering education 2007. Research instrument now with statistical analysis using descrivtive.
