Abstract
Siaran digital DVB-T2 menghadirkan berbagai keuntungan dibandingkan siaran analog, seperti gambar yang lebih jernih dan suara yang lebih jelas. Kualitas siaran DVB-T2 diukur menggunakan parameter Modulation Error Ratio (MER). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai MER terhadap kualitas siaran DVB-T2 yang dipengaruhi oleh parameter modulasi, code rate, FFT mode, dan guard interval pada penggunaan Single Frequency Network (SFN) di wilayah layanan transmisi Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuantitatif dengan pengambilan data MER di 100 titik pengukuran menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sinyal di wilayah layanan Jakarta mendapatkan 87% persentase normal dan 13% persentase blank/freeze dengan membandingkan 4 multiplexer TV. SCM merupakan operator terbaik dari 3 operator lainnya yang dianalisis pada penelitian ini dengan hasil pengukuran yaitu persentase normal 100% dan persentase blank 0%. Kompetitor MNC, Metro dan Viva berturut – turut mendapatkan persentase blank/freeze yaitu 4%, 5%, dan 4%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa kualitas siaran DVB-T2 di wilayah layanan Jakarta dengan sistem SFN umumnya normal. Namun, kualitas siaran di beberapa titik masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang bermanfaat bagi para pemangku kepentingan, seperti pemerintah, operator transmisi, dan masyarakat dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas siaran DVB-T2 di Indonesia. ----- DVB-T2 digital broadcasts bring various advantages over analog broadcasts, such as clearer images and clearer sound. DVB-T2 broadcast quality is measured using the Modulation Error Ratio (MER) parameter. This research aims to analyze the MER value of DVB-T2 broadcast quality which is influenced by modulation parameters, code rate, FFT mode, and guard interval when using a Single Frequency Network (SFN) in the Jakarta transmission service area. This research uses a quantitative experimental method by collecting MER data at 100 measurement points using descriptive statistics. The analysis results show that the signal quality in the Jakarta service area is 87% normal percentage and 13% blank/freeze percentage by comparing 4 TV multiplexers. SCM is the best operator of the 3 other operators analyzed in this study with measurement results namely a normal percentage of 100% and a blank percentage of 0%. Competitors MNC, Metro and Viva respectively received blank/freeze percentages, namely 4%, 5% and 4%. The conclusion of this research is that the quality of DVB-T2 broadcasts in the Jakarta service area with the SFN system is generally normal. However, broadcast quality at some points still needs to be improved. It is hoped that this research can provide useful information for stakeholders, such as the government, transmission operators and the public in an effort to improve the quality of DVB-T2 broadcasts in Indonesia.
