Abstract

Kesadaran sejarah dapat diperoleh melalui komunitas yang memiliki kegiatan sejarah publik seperti Komunitas Mataholang Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengetahui latar belakang Komunitas Mataholang Bandung, 2) Mengetahui program dan implementasi kesadaran sejarah dalam Komunitas Mataholang Bandung melalui sejarah publik, 3) Mengetahui hasil program dan implementasi kesadaran sejarah dalam Komunitas Mataholang Bandung melalui sejarah publik, dan 4) faktor pendukung dan kendala program dan implementasi kesadaran sejarah dalam Komunitas Mataholang Bandung melalui sejarah publik. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi berperanserta, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian di Sekretariat di Kampung Karees, Kota Bandung dengan subyek penelitian koordinator, pengurus/anggota, dan pembina komunitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Komunitas Mataholang Bandung semula bernama Kelompok Anak Rakyat (Lokra) berdiri sejak 15 Januari 2014 dan memiliki program kerja untuk mengangkat materi sejarah baru terutama sejarah lokal Bandung dan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kesadaran sejarah. Perencanaan kegiatan secara kolaboratif sesuai momentum kesejarahan. Kegiatan dilakukan memiliki kebaruan yaitu mengangkat materi sejarah berbasis seni dan menghasilkan berbagai produk sejarah publik. Hasil dari kegiatan komunitas ini dapat memberikan kesadaran sejarah kepada pengurus/anggota melalui sejarah publik. Komunitas ini memiliki kendala sumber daya namun solusi yang dilakukan agar kegiatan tetap berjalan adalah kolaboratif dengan berbagai pihak. Historical awareness can be gained through communities that have public history activities such as the Mataholang Bandung Community. The objectives of this research are: 1) Knowing the background of the Mataholang Bandung Community, 2) Knowing the program and implementation of historical awareness in the Mataholang Bandung Community through public history, 3) Knowing the results of the program and implementation of historical awareness in the Mataholang Bandung Community through public history, and 4 ) supporting factors and obstacles to the program and the realization of historical awareness in the Mataholang Bandung Community through the historical society. Qualitative research approach with case study method. Data collection techniques are participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The research location is at the Secretariat in Karees Village, Bandung City with the research subjects being coordinators, administrators/members, and community builders. The results of this research are that the Mataholang Bandung Community, originally called the Kelompok Anak Rakyat (Lokra) or in English language is People's Children's Group was founded on January, 15 2014 and has a work program to raise new historical material, especially local history of Bandung, and aims to develop historical awareness. Collaborative planning of activities according to historical momentum. The activities carried out are novel, namely highlighting art-based historical material and producing various public history products. The results of this community activity can provide historical awareness to administrators/members through community history. This community has resource constraints but the solution taken to keep activities running is collaborative with various parties.
