Abstract
Menurut Badan Pusat Statistik tahun 2022, kebutuhan garam di Jawa Barat masih belum terpenuhi. Kabupaten Indramayu merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Jawa Barat memiliki wilayah yang berada di pantai utara Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Menganalisis kesesuaian lahan tambak garam di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Indramayu dan 2) Luasan sebaran kesesuaian lahan tambak garam di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Indramayu. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis kesesuaian tambak garam menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penginderaan jauh dan sistem informasi geografis yaitu interpretasi citra komposit band 567 dan parameter fisik. Parameter penentuan lokasi kesesuaian lahan fisik menggunakan curah hujan, kemiringan lereng, jarak sumber air, jarak garis pantai dan tekstur tanah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data untuk kesesuaian lahan tambak garam, penginderaan jauh dan sistem informasi geografis dapat digunakan untuk analisis kesesuaian lahan tambak garam baik secara kewilayahan maupun interpretasi citra. Hasilnya bahwa terdapat pada delapan kecamatan dengan kesesuaian lahan tambak garam yaitu Kecamatan Sukra, Patrol, Kandanghaur, Losarang, Cantigi, Pasekan, Indramayu dan Krangkeng. 2) Luasan dan sebaran kesesuaian lahan tambak garam di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Indramayu dihasilkan dari overlay citra komposit band 567 dan pengolahan parameter fisik kemudian dihitung menggunakan prosedur perhitungan otomatis pada Arcgis yaitu Calculate Geometry dengan hasil luas 671.348 km² dan sebaran tambak garamnya tersebar di delapan kecamatan di pesisir Kabupaten Indramayu. Penelitian ini diharapkan menggunakan lebih banyak parameter untuk kondisi fisik wilayah tambak garam dan data citra yang terbaru agar hasil didapatkan lebih mendekati dengan kondisi sebenarnya di lapangan. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2022, the need for salt in West Java is still unmet. Indramayu Regency is one of the regencies in West Java Province which has an area located on the north coast of West Java. This study aims to 1) Analyze the suitability of salt pond land in the coastal areas of Indramayu Regency and 2) The extent of the distribution of the suitability of salt ponds in the coastal areas of Indramayu Regency. Methods used in analyzing the suitability of salt ponds using quantitative methods with remote sensing approaches and geographic information systems, namely the interpretation of composite image band 567 and physical parameters. Parameters for determining the location of physical land suitability using rainfall, slope, water source distance, shoreline distance and soil texture. The results of this study show that: 1) Based on the results of data processing for the suitability of salt pond land, remote sensing and geographic information systems can be used to analyze the suitability of salt pond land both regionally and image interpretation. The result is that there are eight sub-districts with the suitability of salt pond land namely Sukra, Patrol, Kandanghaur, Losarang, Cantigi, Pasekan, Indramayu and Krangkeng. 2) The area and distribution of land suitability of salt ponds in the coastal area of Indramayu regency is generated from overlaying composite image band 567 and processing of physical parameters and then calculated using automatic calculation procedures in Arcgis, namely Calculate Geometry with the result of an area of 671.348 km² and the distribution of salt ponds spread across eight sub-districts in coastal Indramayu regency. This research is expected to use more parameters for the physical condition of the salt pond area and the latest image data so that the results obtained are closer to the actual conditions in the field.
