    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan
    self regulated learning peserta didik melalui implementasi modelpembelajaran
    guided inquiry terintegrasi STEM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi
    experimental dengan desain penelitian yaitu pretest-posttest control group
    design (Nonequivalent Control Group Design). Subjek Penelitian terdiri dari atas
    64 peserta didik kelas VIII salah satu SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Cirebon yang
    terbagi kedalam dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen sebanyak 32 peserta didik dan
    kelas kontrol 32 peserta didik. Kelas eksperimen menerapkan model
    pembelajaran guided inquiry terintegrasi STEM sedangkan kelas kontrol
    menerapkan model pembelajaran konvesional, praktikum, diskusi dan
    penugasan. Materi pelajaran yang menjadi objek penelitian yaitu materi sistem
    pernapasan manusia. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, tes
    penguasaan konsep dalam bentuk soal uraian sebanyak 13 butir soal dan angket
    skala Likert self regulated learning dalam bentuk pernyataan postif dan negatif
    sebanyak 27 butir soal. Tes penguasaan konsep dan self regulated learning
    dilakukan pada awal (pretest) dan akhir kegiatan pembelajaran (posttest).
    Analisis data menggunakan perhitungan persentase, perhitungan gain yang
    dinormalisasi (N-gain), uji beda dua rata-rata, uji effect size. Hasil penelitian
    menunjukkan hampir seluruh aktivitas dapat terlaksana dengan baik, rata-rata
    peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan selfregulated learning dalam kategori sedang.
    Penerapan model pembelajaran guided inquiry terintegrasi STEM memiliki
    efektivitas yang besar dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep.

    This research aims to obtain information on improving students' mastery of
    concepts and self-regulated learning through the implementation of the STEM
    integrated guided inquiry learning model. This research uses a quasi�experimentalmethod with a research design, namely pretest-posttest control
    group design (Nonequivalent Control Group Design). The research subjects
    consisted of 64 students in class VIII of one of the State Middle Schools in
    Cirebon Regency whowere divided into two classes, namely the experimental
    class with 32 students andthe control class with 32 students. The experimental
    class applies an integrated STEM guided inquiry learning model while the control
    class applies a conventional learning model, practicum, discussion and
    assignments. The subject matter that is the object of research is the human
    respiratory system. Data were collected using observation sheets, mastery of
    concepts in the form of descriptive questions with 13 questions and a self�regulated learning Likert scale questionnaire in the form of positive and
    negative statements with 27 questions. Matery of concepts and self-regulated
    learning tests are carried out at the beginning (pretest) and end of learning
    activities (posttest). Data analysis uses percentage calculations, normalized gain
    calculations (N-gain), two average difference tests, effect size tests. The research
    results show that almost all activities can be carried out well, the average increase
    in science process skills and self-regulated learning is in the medium category.
    The application of the STEM integrated guided inquiry learningmodel has great
    effectiveness in improving mastery of concepts.
