Abstract
Keterampilan berpikir kritis itu dibutuhkan sebagai bagian dari keterampilan abad 21. Akan tetapi berdasarkan data TIMSS tahun 2015, diketahui bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan pembelajaran berbasis probing prompting berbantuan media Google Lens terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 61 peserta didik kelas X di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bekasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa 12 soal tes uraian keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diadaptasi dari Ennis (1985), LKPD yang menggunakan pertanyaan berbasis probing prompting, dan angket respon peserta didik. Data keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik Wilcoxon dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis Normalized Gain (N-Gain). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan skor rata-rata pretest 47 naik setelah pembelajaran menjadi 81 saat posttest. Lalu berdasarkan uji n-gain diperoleh skor 0.57 (sedang), yang menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis probing prompting berbantuan Google Lens tergolong memberikan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam kategori sedang. Selain itu, diperoleh data respon peserta didik berupa 84% peserta didik menunjukkan respon baik terhadap pembelajaran berbasis probing prompting berbantuan Google Lens. Critical thinking skills are needed as part of 21st century skills. However, based on TIMSS data in 2015, it is known that the critical thinking skills of students in Indonesia are still relatively low. This study aims to determine the impact of the application of probing prompting-based learning assisted by Google Lens media on students' critical thinking skills on biodiversity material. The research method used is pre-experimental with a one group pretest posttest design. The sample of this study was 61 grade X students in one of the public high schools in Bekasi City. The instruments used were 12 critical thinking skills description test questions adapted from Ennis (1985), student worksheets that used probing prompting-based questions, and student response questionnaires. Data on students' critical thinking skills were analyzed using the Wilcoxon statistical test and continued with Normalized Gain (N-Gain) analysis. The results showed that there was an increase in students' critical thinking skills with an average pretest score of 47 rising after learning to 81 during the posttest. Then based on the n-gain test, a score of 0.57 (medium) was obtained, which shows that probing prompting-based learning assisted by Google Lens is classified as providing an increase in students' critical thinking skills in the medium category. In addition, obtained data on students' responses in the form of 84% of students showed a good response to probing prompting-based learning assisted by Google Lens.
