    Abstract

    Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh media game edukasi visual novel
    terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi masa pubertas pada peserta
    didik tunarungu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode
    eksperimen one group pretest posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes tulis yang kemudian di uji coba dengan uji validitas isi berupa expert
    judgment kepada 3 ahli dan di uji reliabilitas menggunakan jenis reliabilitas konsistensi
    dengan teknik alpha cronbach serta analisis data menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Signed
    Ranks Test. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 6 peserta didik tunarungu jenjang SMP di
    SLBN Cicendo. Berdasarkan hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan kesehatan
    reproduksi masa pubertas masih rendah, sedangkan pada hasil posttest setelah diberikan
    perlakuan menggunakan media game edukasi visual novel terlihat peningkatan
    pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi masa pubertas yang signifikan pada peserta didik
    tunarungu. Hal tersebut dikarenakan adanya penggunaan gambar yang mendukung serta
    sistem pengulangan jawaban ataupun materi dalam game. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa
    penggunaan game edukasi visual novel berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan
    kesehatan reproduksi masa pubertas pada peserta didik tunarungu di SLBN Cicendo yang
    ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi masa pubertas mengenai: (a) organ reproduksi manusia beserta fungsinya, (b) ciri perubahan
    fisik pada masa pubertas, (c) serta sentuhan dan pandangan yang boleh maupun tidak
    boleh. Implikasi pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pentingnya penggunaan media
    pembelajaran yang sesuai dalam menarik perhatian peserta didik tunarungu serta
    memudahkan peserta didik tunarungu dalam memperoleh informasi kesehatan
    reproduksi, yaitu dengan menggunakan media game edukasi visual novel yang dapat
    meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi masa pubertas.

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of visual novel educational
    game media on increasing reproductive health knowledge during puberty in deaf
    students. This research is quantitative research using the experimental method of
    one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique uses a written
    test instrument which is then tested with a content validity test in the form of
    expert judgment to 3 experts and a reliability test using the type of consistency
    reliability with the Cronbach alpha technique and data analysis using the
    Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The sample in this study was 6 deaf students at the
    junior high school level at SLBN Cicendo. Based on the pretest results, it shows
    that knowledge of reproductive health during puberty is still low, Meanwhile, the
    posttest results after being treated using visual novel educational game media
    showed a significant increase in reproductive health knowledge during puberty in
    deaf students. This is due to the use of supporting images and a system of repeating answers or material in the game. It can be concluded that the use of
    visual novel educational games has an effect on increasing reproductive health
    knowledge during puberty in deaf students at SLBN Cicendo shown by increasing
    knowledge of reproductive health during puberty regarding: (a) human
    reproductive organs and their functions, (b) characteristics of physical changes
    during puberty, (c) and touch and sight that may or may not be. The implications
    of this study show’ the importance of using appropriate learning media in
    attracting the attention of deaf students and making it easier for deaf students to
    obtain reproductive health information, namely by using visual novel educational
    game media that can increase knowledge of reproductive health during puberty.
