Abstract

Dalam budidaya, penting untuk mempertimbangkan faktor pertumbuhan salah satunya aspek pakan yang diberikan. Ikan sidat merupakan ikan karnivora sehingga membutuhkan banyak protein dibandingkan dengan herbivora. Salah satu bahan yang dapat digunakan untuk mendukung kebutuhan protein pada pakan adalah daun kelor. Daun kelor (Moringa Oleifera) memiliki kandungan protein tinggi yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui proses fermentasi. Fermentasi dilakukan menggunakan jamur oncom (Neurospora sithopilla) dapat mensubtitusi sumber protein dari tepung ikan dengan tepung daun kelor untuk sediaan pakan. Kemudian, dilakukan analisa pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas air dan performa pertumbuhan ikan sidat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas air pada budidaya ikan sidat (Anguilla bicolor bicolor) yang diamati berdasarkan parameter TDS, suhu. pH, DO, konduktivitas, kadar nitrat dan nitrit, serta mengetahui harga konstanta laju pertumbuhan, Specific Growth Rate (SGR), Survival Rate (SR) serta Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) dari ikan sidat yang diberi pakan daun kelor terfermentasi. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan membuat pakan dengan variasi komposisi daun kelor terfermentasi 0%, 4%, 5% 6% dan 7% yang diujicobakan pada ikan sidat (Anguilla bicolor bicolor) selama 64 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas air kecuali kadar nitrit yang diuji selama pemberian pakan dengan menggunakan daun kelor terfermentasi telah memenuhi standar Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 82 Tahun 2001 Baku Mutu Kelas II. Selain itu, Harga FCR, SGR, kinetika laju pertumbuhan pada persentase daun kelor terfermentasi 0% dan 5% memiliki nilai positif, tetapi masih lebih rendah daripada harga FCR, SGR, kinetika laju pertumbuhan pada kontrol (pakan komersial). In cultivation, it is important to consider growth factors such as feed provided. Eels are carnivorous fish, so they need a lot of protein than herbivores. An ingredient that can be used to support protein requirements in feed is Moringa leaves. Moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera) has a high protein content which can be increased through the fermentation process. Fermentation is carried out using the oncom fungus (Neurospora sithopilla) which can substitute the protein source from fish meal with Moringa leaves meal for feedstock. Then, an analysis of its effect on water quality and eel growth performance was carried out. The aim of this research is to determine the water quality in eel (Anguilla bicolor bicolor) cultivation which is observed based on TDS parameters, suhue. pH, DO, conductivity, nitrate and nitrite content, as well as knowing the constant value of growth rate, Specific Growth Rate (SGR), Survival Rate(SR) and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) of eel fish fed fermented moringa leaves. The research method was carried out by making feed with variations in the composition of fermented Moringa leaves 0%, 4%, 5% 6% and 7% which was tested on eels for 64 days. The results showed that the water quality, except for the nitrite content tested during feeding using fermented Moringa leaves, met the Class II Quality Standards based on Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001. beside that, the FCR, SGR, growth rate kinetics at 0% and 5% percentage of fermented Moringa leaves has positive values, but are still lower than the FCR, SGR, growth rate kinetics in the control (commercial feed).
