Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui meningkatnya kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa sebagai akibat dari pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Mengetahui meningkatnya kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terdapat peningkatan dibandingkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Metode eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu quasi eskperimental design. Desain yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimenta; Desaign yang bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa-siswi kelas IV A SDN Lambangdari 01 yang terdiri dari 23 siswa dengan 12 siswa Perempuan dan 11 siswa laki-laki. Dan kelas IV B 23 siswa dengan 12 siswa Perempuan dan 11 siswa laki-laki. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi pecahan di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hal ini terlihat dari data Pretest memiliki rerata 62,699 pada kelas eksperimen dan nilai rerata 49,304 terdapat pada kelas kontro. Sedangkan setelah diberikan treatment yang berbeda dan diberikan tes pengujian akhir atau Posttest didapatkan dengan nilai rerata 86,535 pada kelas eksperimen dan nilai rerata 79,522 terdapat pada kelas kontrol. Adapun hasil rerata nilai N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen terdapat peningkatan dengan rerata sebesar 0,6364 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol terdapat peningkatan sebesar 0,5867. berdasarkan kriteria N-Gain rerata peningkatan kualitas peningkatan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,6364 tergolong sedang. Abstract: The purpose of study was to determine the increase in students mathematical understanding ability as a result of Problem Based Learning (PBL) models. Knowing the increase in students mathematical understanding ability using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models there is an increase comparade to using conventional learning. The design used in this research is Quasi Eksperimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SDN Lambangsari 01 consisting of IV A class totaling 23 students with 12 female students and 11 male students. And class IV B 23 students with 12 female students and 11 male students. The results of this study indicate that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve students mathematical understanding skills on fraction material in experimental and control classes. This can be seen from the Pretest data which has an average of 62,699 in the experimental class and an average value of 49,304 in the control class. Meanwhile, after being given different treatments and given a final test or Posttets, it was obtained with an average value of 86,435 in the experimental class and an average value 79,522 in the control class. As for the average N-Gain value in the experimental class there was an increase with an average of 0,6364 while in the control class there was an increase of 0,5867. Based on the N-Gain criteria, the average increase in the quality of learning outcomes of the experimental class of 0,6364 is classified as moderate
