Abstract
Siswa Low Learner merupakan siswa disuatu lembaga pendidikan formal yang memiliki kemampuan kognitif di bawah anak-anak seusianya. Mereka juga mengalami kesulitan dalam mengingat kembali materi-materi yang telah dipelajari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1) Mengidentifikasi kondisi kesulitan belajar yang terjadi pada anak slow learner di SDN Margaluyu Kecamatan Singaparna Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. 2) Menidentifikasi model-model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penyelenggaraan pembelajaran bagi siswa slow learner di SDN Margaluyu Kecamatan Singaparna Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, terkait pengelolaan lingkungan kelas dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Tujuannya yaitu menjelaskan secara lebih mendalam dan rinci mengenai fenomena yang sedang diteliti terkait manajemen model pembelajaran slow learner di SDN Margaluyu Kecamatan Singaparna Kabupaten Tasikmalaya di kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan penarikan kesimpulan (conclution drawing/verification). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Kesulitan belajar yang dialamai siswa slow learner adalah mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi pembelajaran, mengalami kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi, mengalami kesulitan mengingat kembali materi-materi yang telah dipelajari, mengalami kesulitan dalam mengarahkan diri, pasif dalam pertemanan, dan juga belum mampu dalam menganalisis dan berpikir kritis, 2) Model-model pembelajaran yang diterapkan dalam penyelenggaraan pembelajaran bagi siswa slow learner yaitu melalui pengelolaan lingkungan kelas dan model pembelajaran yang bervariatif. The aims of this study were: 1) Identify the conditions of learning difficulties that occur in slow learner children at SDN Margaluyu, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency. 2) Identify the learning models used in organizing learning for slow learner students at SDN Margaluyu, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency, regarding the management of the classroom environment and the learning model used. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. The aim is to explain in more depth and detail about the phenomenon being researched related to the management of the slow learner learning model at SDN Margaluyu, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency in class V. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that: 1) The learning difficulties experienced by slow learner students were having difficulty understanding learning material, having difficulty communicating, having difficulty recalling material that had been studied, having difficulty directing themselves, being passive in friendship, and also not yet able to analyze and think critically, 2) The learning models that are applied in organizing learning for slow learner students are through the management of the classroom environment and various learning models.
