Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah temuan hasil observasi awal peneliti bahwa pada mata pelajaran housekeeping dengan KKM 80, diketahui bawa dari 34 siswa kelas XI PH 2 SMKN 57 Jakarta yang dinyatakan tuntas sebanyak 12 (35,3%) siswa dan yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 22 (64.7%) siswa. Permasalahan tersebut sebagai dampak rendahnya disiplin siswa pada saat mengikuti pembelajaran dan penggunaaan model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat oleh guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan. Partisipan penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas XI PH 2 SMKN 57 Jakarta. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi aktivitas siswa, dan tes praktikum. Aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I memperoleh kategori cukup aktif dan pada siklus II memperoleh kategori aktif. Adanya peningkatan aktivitas siswa berkorelasi dengan perbaikan hasil belajar, hal ini terbukti dari ada peningkatan nilai praktikum. Nilai rata-rata pada pra siklus 64,44 meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 76,70 dan mengalami peningkatan signifikan pada siklus II yaitu 86,35. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran role playing dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan nilai mata pelajaran housekeeping siswa kelas XI PH 2 SMKN 57 Jakarta. The problem behind this research is the findings of the researchers' initial observations that in the housekeeping subject with KKM 80, it was found that out of 34 students in class XI PH 2 SMKN 57 Jakarta, 12 (35.3%) students were declared complete and 22 (64.7%) students did not complete. These problems are the impact of low student discipline when participating in learning and the use of inappropriate learning models by teachers. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle was held in 2 meetings. The participants in this study were all students of class XI PH 2 at SMKN 57 Jakarta. The data collection instruments used in this study were observation of student activities and practicum tests. Student activity during learning has increased, in the first cycle they get the quite active category and in the second cycle they get the active category. An increase in student activity correlates with an improvement in learning outcomes, this is evident from an increase in the value of practicum. The average value in the pre-cycle of 64.44 increased in the first cycle to 76.70 and experienced a significant increase in the second cycle, namely 86.35. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the roleplaying learning model can increase student activity and grade XI PH 2 student housekeeping subject at SMKN 57 Jakarta.
