Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh penerapan strategi pembelajaran Personal Digital Inquiry berbantuan Infografis terhadap literasi sains dan keterampilan komunikasi tertulis dan lisan siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental dengan desain non equivalent control group. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA yang terdiri dari 35 siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dengan pembelajaran berbasis digital yaitu siswa melakukan penyelidikan di kelas dengan internet dan 35 siswa pada kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan buku dan artikel yang telah dibawa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes. Tes literasi sains dan keterampilan komunikasi divalidasi oleh dosen ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi Personal Digital Inquiry berbantuan Infografis dapat meningkatkan literasi sains dan keterampilan komunikasi. Hal ini dibuktikan dari perolehan rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen pada tes literasi sains sebesar 77 dengan kategori tinggi sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 62,3 dengan kategori sedang. Untuk keterampilan komunikasi tertulis memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 84,1 dengan kategori baik sekali sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan perolehan rata-rata sebesar 75,6 dengan kategori baik. Selanjutnya untuk keterampilan komunikasi lisan pada kelas eksperimen memperoleh hasil rata-rata persentase 89% dengan kategori sangat baik dan kelas kontrol memperoleh rata-rata persentase 70,8% dengan kategori baik. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of applying the Infographic-assisted Personal Digital Inquiry learning strategy on scientific literacy and students' written and oral communication skills. This research method is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The research sample was high school class X students consisting of 35 students in the experimental group with digital-based learning, namely students conducting investigations in class with the internet and 35 students in the control group using books and articles that had been brought. Data collection is done through tests. Tests of scientific literacy and communication skills are validated by expert lecturers. The results of the study show that the application of the Personal Digital Inquiry strategy with the help of infographics can improve scientific literacy and communication skills. This is evidenced by the average posttest gain of the experimental class on the scientific literacy test of 77 in the high category while the control class was 62.3 in the medium category. For written communication skills, an average of 84.1 was obtained in the very good category, while the control class received an average acquisition of 75.6 in the good category. Furthermore, the oral communication skills in the experimental class obtained an average percentage of 89% in the very good category and the control class obtained an average percentage of 70.8% in the good category.
