Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi mengembangkan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak usia dini sebelum dan setelah perlakuan kegiatan pembelajaran media playdough serta mengetahui efektivitas media playdough dalam mengembangkan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak usia dini disalah satu TK di Kabuputen Purwakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre eksprimen berupa one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini siswa kelas TK A usia 4-5 tahun sebanyak 15 orang anak. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode pembelajaran media playdough, analisis menggunakan analisis pretest-posttest, nilai N-Gain dan uji paired-sample t-test (Uji-t) hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan motorik halus kepada anak usia dini sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya media playdough. Hal ini membuktikan hasil analisis data penelitian bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest mendapatkan peningkatan setelah melakukan posttest pada kategori tinggi atau efektif mengembangkan motorik halus melalui media playdough. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil uji paire-sampel t-test (Uji-t) terdapat perbedaan atau peningkatan yang signifikan. Diketahui bahwa media playdough efektif dalam mengembangkan motorik halus anak usia dini. ----- This study aims to identify the development of fine motor skills in early childhood before and after the treatment of playdough media learning activities and to determine the effectiveness of playdough media in developing fine motor skills in early childhood in one of the kindergartens in Purwakarta District. This type of research is a pre-experimental research in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study was 15 students in class A aged 4-5 years. Collecting data using the playdough media learning method, analyzed using pretest-posttest analysis, N-Gain values and paired-sample t-test (t-test) the results of the study showed a significant increase in fine motor skills in early childhood before and after the application of playdough media. This proves the results of research data analysis that the average pre-test score has increased after carrying out post-test activities in the high or effective category. Then based on the results of the paire-sample t-test (t-test) there is a significant difference or increase. It is known that playdough media is effective in developing fine motor skills in early childhood.
