Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan dan memberikan perkembangan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Salah satu keterampilan yang harus dikenalkan dan diajarkan di sekolah yaitu keterampilan berbicara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Role Playing berbantuan media pembelajaran video animasi terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V di SDN Pela Mampang 03 Pagi. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test post-test. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini ialah kelas V sekolah dasar dengan jumlah 24 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pre-test dan post-test secara lisan, lembar observasi peserta didik, serta hasil wawancara dengan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman membaca siswa mengalami peningkatan. Dilihat dari nilai hasil pretest dan posttest memiliki rata-rata dari sebesar 63,33 menjadi 83,75. Presentase keberhasilan niilai Pretest di angka 8,33% dan mengalami kenaikan menjadi 95,83%. Hasil uji T menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V dengan hasil uji 0,00 > 0,005. Kemudian memiliki hasil Uji Koefisien Determinasi sebesar 80,6%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode Role Playing berbantuan media pembelajaran video animasi dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V di SDN Pela Mampang 03 Pagi, Jakarta Selatan. One of the skills that must be introduced and taught in schools is speaking skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the Role Playing method assisted by video animation learning media on the speaking skills of fifth grade students at SDN Pela Mampang 03 Pagi. Researchers used the pre-experimental research method with a one group pre-test post-test design. The population and sample in this study were class V elementary school with a total of 24 students. The instruments used were oral pre-test and post-test, student observation sheets, and the results of interviews with the teacher. The results showed that, on average, students' reading comprehension skills increased. Judging from the value of the pretest and posttest results, it has an average of 63.33 to 83.75. The percentage of successful Pretest scores was 8.33% and increased to 95.83%. The results of the T test showed that there was an influence on the reading comprehension ability of fifth grade students with test results of 0.00 > 0.005. Then it has a Determination Coefficient Test result of 80.6%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Role Playing method assisted by animated video learning media can affect the speaking skills of fifth grade students at SDN Pela Mampang 03 Pagi, South Jakarta.
