Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji besar pengaruh strategi REACT terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa di Indonesia selama sepuluh tahun terakhir. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta analisis. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan cara mengidentifikasi beberapa jurnal yang telah dipublikasikan di jurnal nasional, jurnal internasional dan prosiding tahun 2013-2022. Berdasarkan kriteria inklusi diperoleh 11 artikel yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan model efek acak pada effect size secara keseluruhan dari penerapan strategi REACT terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa adalah 1,040 termasuk kategori efek sangat tinggi. Karakteristik studi dalam penelitian ini yaitu jenjang pendidikan, tahun penelitian, dan ukuran sampel. Berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan diperoleh bahwa tingkat SD/sederajat memiliki effect size yang lebih tinggi daripada SMP/sederajat yaitu 1,298 (kategori efek sangat tinggi). Untuk tahun penelitian, kelompok rentang tahun 2013-2015 memiliki effect size yang terkecil dan untuk kelompok rentang tahun selanjutnya effect size terus meningkat. Sedangkan berdasarkan ukuran sampel, penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa ukuran sampel ≤ 30 memiliki effect size yang lebih tinggi daripada ukuran sampel > 30 yaitu 1,133 (kategori efek sangat tinggi). Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi REACT secara keseluruhan lebih baik terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dibandingkan dengan penerapan pembelajaran konvensional. Kata kunci: Effect Size, Komunikasi Matematis; Strategi REACT Abstract This study aims to examine the influence of the REACT strategy on students' mathematical communication skills in Indonesia for the last ten years. The method in this study uses the meta-analysis method. Research data collection was carried out by identifying several journals that had been published in national journals, international journals and proceedings in 2013-2022. The results showed that based on the random effects model, the overall effect size of the application of the REACT strategy to students' mathematical communication skills was 1.040, which was included in the very high effect category. Based on the level of education, it was found that the SD/equivalent level had a higher effect size than SMP/equivalent, namely 1.298 (very high effect category). For the research year, the 2013-2015 span group has the smallest effect size and for the following year span group the effect size continues to increase. Meanwhile, based on the sample size, this study obtained the result that the sample size ≤ 30 had a higher effect size than the sample size > 30, namely 1.133 (very high effect category).
