Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa PGPAUD terhadap urgensi Program PMP2K English Credential Camp di Kampus UPI di Serang. Jumlah subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 45 mahasiswa PGPAUD angkatan 2019 yang mengikuti Program PMP2K English Credential Camp di Kampus UPI di Serang. Penelitianini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang dituangkan dalam bentuk persentase dan disajikan menggunakan diagram lingkaran.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 45 responden yang menjawab 10 item pernyataan dalam instrumen penelitian, sebanyak 15% responden (69 kali) memilih opsi "sangat setuju", sebanyak 49% responden (220 kali) memilih opsi "setuju", sebanyak 30% responden (134 kali) memilih opsi "netral", sebanyak 6% responden (27 kali) memilih opsi "tidak setuju", dan tidak ada responden yang memilih opsi "sangat tidak setuju". Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Program PMP2K English Credential Camp ini penting untuk dilaksanakan di Program Studi PGPAUD dan diharapkan agar program ini tetap berlanjut sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris mahasiswa PGPAUD dan memberikan tambahan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of PGPAUD students on the urgency of the PMP2K English Credential Camp Program at the UPI Campus in Serang. The number of research subjects was 45 PGPAUD students class of 2019 who took part in the PMP2K English Credential Camp Program at the UPI Campus in Serang. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics as outlined in the form of percentages and is presented using a pie chart. The results showed that of the 45 respondents who answered the 10 statement items in the research instrument, 15% of respondents (69 times) chose the "strongly agree" option, 49% of respondents (220 times) chose the "agree" option, as many as 30% of respondents ( 134 times) chose the "neutral" option, 6% of respondents (27 times) chose the "disagree" option, and no respondents chose the "strongly disagree" option. Thus, it can be concluded that the PMP2K English Credential Camp Program is important to be implemented in the PGPAUD Study Program and it is hoped that this program will continue as a means to improve English language skills of PGPAUD students and provide additional skills needed to enter the world of work and face challenges in the future.
