Abstract

ABSTRAK Secara teori model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning konsep belajar di mana guru dapat menghadirkan situasi dunia nyata ke dalam kelas dan dapat mendorong siswa untuk membuat pengetahuan yang dimilikinya dengan menerapkan di dalam kehidupan mereka sebagai anggota keluarga atau anggota masyarakat, hasil pembelajaran lebih diharapkan untuk lebih bermakna bagi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbandingan pemahaman matematis siswa baik sesudah diberikan maupun sebelum diberikan perlakuan, pada materi satuan waktu di mata pelajaran Matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre Eksperimental dengan desain Onegrup Pretest-posttest design, dan populasi siswa kelas III di salah satu Sekolah Dasar swasta berbasis Islam. Metode Pre Eksperimental ini dilakukan 3 tahapan yaitu Pretest, Treatment atau perlakuan dan Posttest. Hasil penelitian ini siswa mengalami peningkatan kemampuan matematis dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 64,4 dan posttes 85,4. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning, Pre Eksperimental, Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis ----- ABSTRACT In theory, the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model is a learning concept in which the teacher can present real-world situations into the classroom and can encourage students to make the knowledge they have by applying it in their lives as family members or community members, learning outcomes are more expected to be more meaningful to students. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of students' mathematical understanding both after being given and before being given treatment, on the material of units of time in Mathematics. This research used Pre-Experimental method with Onegrup Pretest-posttest design, and the population of grade III students in one of the Islamic-based private elementary schools. This Pre-Experimental method is carried out in 3 stages, namely Pretest, Treatment or treatment and Posttest. The results of this study showed that students experienced an increase in mathematical ability as seen from the average pretest score of 64.4 and posttest of 85.4.
