Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena terdapat permasalahan masih rendahnya kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran seni budaya dan masih di temukan alumni SMK Negeri 1 Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau yang belum bekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menciptakan rancangan, proses dan hasil karya desain batik Kota Duri dengan implementasi project based learning pada pembelajaran seni budaya melalui smartphone untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa SMK Negeri 1 Mandau. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas sepuluh jurusan teknik komputer jaringan berjumlah 34 orang. Metodologi penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan hanya menggunakan satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas uji coba. Secara teoritik batasan penelitian ini terdiri dari empat yaitu Implementasi Project based learning, pembelajaran seni budaya, smartphone dan kreativitas. Penelitian ini dengan analisis data kualitatif menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam merencanakan proyek, proses dan hasil karya desain batik khas daerah duri sebanyak 34 desain yang merupakan hasil pemikiran siswa yang di tuangkan dalam bentuk gambar melalui proses pembelajaran dengan implementasi project based learning melalui pembelajaran seni budaya dengan melakukan pembaharuan memanfaatkan smartphone dalam membuat desain batik. Dari hasil serangkaian kegiatan penelitian yang di lakukan berdampak positif. Kata Kunci : Project Based Learning, Pembelajaran Seni Budaya, Smartphone, Kreativitas This research was carried out because there were problems with the low creativity of students in learning arts and culture and there were still alumni from SMK Negeri 1 Mandau, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province who had not worked. The purpose of this study was to create designs, processes and works of batik designs for the City of Duri with the implementation of project based learning in learning arts and culture through smartphones to increase the creativity of students at SMK Negeri 1 Mandau. The population of this study was tenth grade students majoring in computer network engineering totaling 34 people. The research methodology used is an experimental method using only one class as the experimental class and the trial class. Theoretically, the limitations of this research consist of four, namely the Implementation of Project based learning, learning arts and culture, smartphones and creativity. This research uses qualitative data analysis using descriptive analysis methods, observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive influence on increasing student creativity in planning projects, processes and works of typical durian batik designs as many as 34 designs which are the results of students' thoughts which are poured in the form of images through a learning process with the implementation of project based learning through art and culture learning by updating using smartphones in making batik designs.
