Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar materi dinamika rotasi dan kesetimbangan benda tegar untuk mengubah kemampuan representasi, konsistensi representasi, dan membangun representasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE. Pengembangan produk bahan ajar menggunakan pendekatan multirepresentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 52 peserta didik kelas XI di salah satu sekolah di Kabupaten Jeneponto, Sulawesi Selatan. Tahap Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen kelayakan bahan ajar (ahli materi dan uji keterpahaman wacana) instrumen tes kemampuan representasi, konsistensi representasi, membangun representasi, dan instrumen skala sikap. Instrumen uji kelayakan bahan ajar ahli materi meliputi kesesuaian indikator dengan uraian materi ajar memperoleh nilai 98 dengan kategori sangat baik layak dan uji keterpahaman ide pokok wacana diperoleh 77,4 dengan kriteria tinggi. Hasil implementasi bahan ajar menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan pada setiap variabel, kemampuan representasi peserta didik (<c> = 0,62), konsistensi representasi peserta didik (<c> = 0,64), dan membangun representasi peserta didik (<c> = 0,75). Berdasarkan hasil N-change <c> diketahui bahwa bahan ajar multirepresentasi lebih tinggi dalam mengubah kemampuan representasi, konsistensi representasi, dan membangun representasi dibandingkan kelas yang menggunakan bahan ajar konvensional sekolah. Berdasarkan uji efektivitas diperoleh bahwa bahan ajar multirepresentasi lebih efektif untuk mengubah kemampuan representasi, konsistensi representasi, dan membangun representasi dibandingkan kelas yang menggunakan bahan ajar konvensional sekolah. Berdasarkan persepsi peserta didik, peserta didik menyetujui bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dapat memberikan motivasi belajar dan memperbaiki cara belajar peserta didik. The aim of this study was to develop teaching materials on rotational dynamics and rigid body equilibrium to change representation ability, representation consistency, and generating representation. The method used is the ADDIE Research and Development (R&D) model. The development of teaching material products uses a multi-representational approach. The sample in the study was 52 students of class XI in one of the schools in Jeneponto Regency. This research phase uses teaching material feasibility instruments (material experts and discourse comprehension tests) test instruments for representation ability, representation consistency, generating representation, and attitude scale instruments. The instrument for the feasibility test for teaching materials for material experts includes the suitability of the indicators with the description of the teaching materials, obtaining a score of 98 in the very good category, and the test for understanding the main ideas of the discourse, obtaining 77.4 with high criteria. The results of the implementation of teaching materials show that there is a change in each variable, students' representation abilities (<c> = 0.62), students' representation consistency (<c> = 0.64), and students' generating representations (< c > = 0.75). Based on the results of N-change <c> it is known that multi-representational teaching materials are higher in changing representational abilities, representational consistency, and generating representation compared to classes that use conventional school teaching materials. Based on the effectiveness test, it was found that multi-representational teaching materials were more effective for changing representational abilities, representational consistency, and generating representations than classes using conventional school teaching materials. Based on students' perceptions, students agree that the teaching materials developed can provide learning motivation and improve students' learning methods.
