Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model direct instruction dan indirect instruction (model inkuiri) terhadap hasil pembelajaran pencak silat jurus tunggal. Dan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran manakah yang lebih berpengaruh terhadap hasil pembelajaran pencak silat jurus tunggal. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model direct instruction dan model indirect instruction (model inkuiri). Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian menggunakan Posttest-Only Control Design. Dan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa - siswi SD Laboratorium - Percontohan UPI. Karena mengingat terbatasnya waktu, tenaga, dan biaya maka penulis mengambil sebagian dari populasi dengan sampel siswa kelas 5, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan uji rata-rata kesamaan dua rata-rata (satu pihak). Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan dan pengolahan data diperoleh bahwa thitung > ttabel yaitu t(3,96) > t1-α(1,71), oleh karena itu hipotesis ditolak. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran direct instruction dan indirect instruction terhadap hasil pembelajaran pencak silat jurus tunggal di SD Laboratorium - Percontohan UPI. Dengan demikian dapat diartikan bahwa model direct instruction lebih signifikan pengaruhnya dibandingkan dengan model indirect instruction dalam hasil pembelajaran pencak silat jurus tunggal. The research conducted with the purposes to determine the effect of direct instruction and indirect instruction model, as the results of learning “Pencak Silat Jurus tunggal” and to determine which one is more influenced from them. The independent variable in this research are direct instruction and indirect instruction model (model Inquiry). The research used the experiment method with the research design using Posttets Only Control Design. And the population of this research are student of elementary School Laboratorium – Percontohan UPI. Because of limited time, effort, and cost the writer take the portion of population with a sample of student in five grade. A sample random sampling technique is used in this research. The average test is used for analysis of data in this research. Based on calculation and processing data obtained that thitung > ttabel yaitu t(3,96) > t1-α(1,71), there fore the hypothesis was rejected. As the result of this research can be concluded that there are a significant effects from the direct instruction and indirect instruction model as the result of learning Pencak Silat Jurus Tunggal in elementary School Laboratorium – Percontohan UPI. There fore, it can be interpreted that direct instruction model is more significant effect than indirect instruction in Learning Pencak Silat Jurus Tunggal.
