Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Group Investigation (GI), hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Group Investigation (GI), dan untuk mengetahui serta membandingkan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Group Investigation (GI) dengan siswa kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yang melibatkan dua kelompok subjek, yang satu diberi perlakuan eksperimental (kelompok eksperimen) dan yang lain diberi perlakuan konvensional (kelompok kontrol). Alat pengumpul data atau instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar siswa. Dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Bandung yang terdiri dari 10 kelas berjumlah 446 orang siswa. Sedangkan sampelnya yaitu kelas X2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dalam aspek pemahaman konsep siswa kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe Group Investigation (GI), terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dalam aspek pemahaman konsep siswa kelas eksperimen setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe Group Investigation (GI), dan hasil belajar dalam aspek pemahaman konsep siswa kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Group Investigation (GI) lebih baik daripada siswa kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. This research used experiments involving two groups of subjects, one being given the experimental treatment (experimental group) and others received conventional treatment (control group). Data collection tool or instrument used was a test of student learning outcomes. With the population of the entire class X SMAN 10 Bandung which consists of 10 classes totaling 446 students. While the sample is the class as a class experiment X2 and X1 class as the control class. Based on research conducted showed that there were no differences in learning outcomes in terms of understanding the concept of class grade students experiment with the controls before using cooperative learning learning model of type Group Investigation (GI), there are different aspects of learning outcomes in students' understanding of the concept of experimental class after using a model learning cooperative learning type Group Investigation (GI), and learning outcomes in terms of understanding the concept of class students experiment with learning models of type Cooperative Learning Group Investigation (GI) is better than the control class students who use conventional learning models.
