Abstract

Penelitian ini terkait dengan isu permasalahan IPS yang munscul di lapangan (sekolah) yaitu, masih rendahnya hasil pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dan adanya ketidaksiapan dari guru-guru yang ada di sekolahnya untuk membelajarkan IPS secara terpadu. Dalam keadaan tersebut bagaimana siswa dapat belajar dengan baik dengan melakukan Self Regulated Learning yang baik dan apakah siswa memiliki persepsi bahwa guru-guru telah mengajar IPS secara profesional agar tujuan belajar dapat tercapai dan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam bentuk penguasaan konsep IPS, penguasaan konsep pada penelitian ini akan dianalisis berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei eksplanasi dengan teknik deskriptif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri se-kota Malang, penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling sejumlah 400 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data terdiri dari 2 angket dan 1 tes uraian berupa 1) kuesioner tentang Self Regulated Learning yang dikembangkan oleh Paul R. Pintrich 2) Angket persepsi siswa tentang profesionalisme guru dan 3) tes soal uraian penguasaan konsep IPS bedassarkan taksonomi SOLO. Data diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Teknik pengujian data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier ganda dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Self Regulated Learning dan persepsi siswa tentang profesionalisme guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penguasaan konsep IPS berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO. Dari hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa masih ada faktor lain yang berpengaruh terhadap penguasaan konsep IPS sehingga diharapkan siswa dapat meningkatkan Self Regulated Learning masing-masing dalam belajar. Guru berperan penting dalam memberikan arahan, bimbingan dan untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam belajar, gurupun harus memperhatikan tingkat berfikir, kemampuan dan kondisi siswa dan senantiasa memberikan motivasi belajar bagi siswanya. This research based on the issues of both low quality of learning result in Social Science Subject and not readiness of the teachers to teach the subject in integration.this situation leads the study to investigate how students can be learn well by apllying a good perceptions on teacher’s professionalism in teaching Social Science subject so that the objectives of learning can be attained and the learning is enable to improve student’s understanding in the form of Social Science mastery concept. Social science subject mastery concept analysis based on solo taxonomy. The method used in this research is explanation survey method and the techniques employed are descriptive and quantitative data analysis. The population taken is nine grader students of public Junior High School in the entire the city of Malang. Random sampling is used to determine the sample of the research, resulted in 400 students. Instruments used to collect data consists of 1) Questionnaire on Self Regulated Learning developed by Paul R. Pintrich 2) Questionnaire on the perception on teacher’s professionalism 3) essay test on Social Science mastery concept beased on SOLO taxonomy. The data is then collected and analyzed by using SPSS program 16.00 for windows. The data is then tested by employing multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The result shows that self regulated learning and student’s perception on teacher’s professionalism have a significant influence on Social Science mastery concept which is based on SOLO taxonomy. It is concluded that there is another factor contributed to the mastery concept of Social Science subject to then support students improving their self regulated learning. Furthermore, the teacher plays an important role to guide and consider students level of thingking and conditon as well as to continually motivate the students to learn.
