Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan media Kotak Telur Hitung yang dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya minat peserta didik dalam mempelajari materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan cacah di kelas II sekolah dasar yang disebabkan oleh minimnya pengadaan dan pengembangan media pembelajaran pada materi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media Kotak Telur Hitung pada materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan cacah di kelas II sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, penilaian para ahli dan angket respon peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi, diperoleh nilai validitas 80% dengan kategori layak, hasil validasi dari ahli media 92% dengan kategori sangat layak dan hasil validasi ahli pedagogik 86% serta 100% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil implementasi yang telah dilakukan pada uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh nilai 96,6% dan untuk uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh 95,2% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Sehingga dapat disimpukan bahwa media Kotak Telur Hitung sangat layak dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan cacah di kelas II sekolah dasar. This study discusses the development of Counting Egg Box media which is motivated by the lack of interest of students in learning multiplication and division of whole numbers in grade II elementary schools caused by the lack of procurement and development of learning media on this material. This study aims to describe the process of developing Counting Egg Box media on multiplication and division of whole numbers in grade II elementary schools. The research method used is R&D with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, documentation studies, expert assessment and student response questionnaires. Based on the validation results from material experts, a validity value of 80% was obtained with “appropriate” category, the validation results from media experts were 92% with “very feasible” category and the pedagogic expert validation results were 86% and 100% with “very feasible” category. The implementation results that have been carried out in small group trials obtained a value of 96.6% and for large group trials obtained 95.2% with “very practical” category. So it can be concluded that the Egg Counting Box media is very feasible and very practical to use in learning mathematics on multiplication and division of whole numbers in grade II elementary schools.
