Abstract

Pembelajaran pola gerak dasar (PGD) merupakan salah satu materi ajar dalam pelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, masalah yang teridentifikasi pada pembelajaran pola gerak dasar yaitu rendahnya pengetahuan siswa mengenai materi gerak dasar lokomotor dikarenakan guru pendidikan jasmani dalam menggunakan metode yang kurang menarik dan kurangnya memberikan pengalaman kepada siswa. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor siswa dan memberikan pengalaman baru baik terhadap guru maupun siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor ini diukur melalui tes keterampilan dan pengetahuan. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas III SD salah satu sekolah di Kabupaten Serang dengan jumlah 31 orang. Semua data dianalisis dan diolah dari pertemuan awal hingga akhir. Hasil dat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor sebesar 77%. Dengan penelitian ini, penerapan model pembelajaran penjaskes berbasis Team Games Tournament dapat meningkatkan kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor siswa kelas III di SDN Umbul. Learning basic movement patterns (PGD) is one of the teaching materials in physical education lessons in elementary schools. Based on the results of observations, the problem identified in learning basic movement patterns is the low knowledge of students regarding basic locomotor movement material because physical education teachers use methods that are less attractive and lack of experience for students. The application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model aims to improve students' locomotor basic movement abilities and provide new experiences for both teachers and students. This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which was carried out in two cycles. This locomotor basic movement ability is measured through skills and knowledge tests. The research subjects in this study were class III elementary school students in one of the schools in Serang Regency with a total of 31 people. All data is analyzed and processed from the initial meeting to the end. The results of the data show that there is an increase in basic locomotor locomotor abilities by 77%. With this research, the application of the Team Games Tournament-based Physical Education learning model can improve the basic locomotor movement abilities of class III students at SDN Umbul.
