Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang penggunaan data base latihan soal dalam pembelajaran biologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai pengaruh penggunaan data base latihan soal terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa SMA pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan. Data base latihan soal merupakan sebuah media pembelajaran berbentuk kumpulan soal latihan yang akan siswa kerjakan. Selama pembelajaran, siswa terlebih dahulu menonton video tutorial pengerjaan data base latihan soal untuk mengetahui langkah mengerjakan data base latihan soal serta belajar memahami keterkaitan antar konsep materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan dan belajar mengevaluasi diri dalam meningkatkan kemampuan belajar mandirinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental dengan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 38 siswa pada satu kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari soal pre-test dan post-test yang berjumlah 30 soal pilihan ganda dengan lima pilihan jawaban, data base 24 latihan soal, kuesioner keefektifan data base latihan soal, dan pertanyaan wawancara. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan nilai rata-rata pada pre-test sebesar 28 dan post-test sebesar 94, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan data base latihan soal memberikan pengaruh yang efektif dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,91 dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil kuesioner juga menunjukan penggunaan data base latihan soal mendapatkan respon positif karena mampu membantu siswa berpikir keterkaitan antar konsep materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar mandiri siswa. The purpose of this study is to obtain information about the effect of the application of a questions practice data base on senior high school mastery of concepts on the material structure and function of tissue plants. The practice questions data base is a learning medium in the form of a collection of practice questions that students will work on. During the lesson, students first watch a video tutorial on working on the data base for practice questions to find out the steps for working on the data base for practice questions and learn to understand the interrelationships between material concepts of the structure and function of plant tissues and learn to self-evaluate in improving their independent learning abilities. The method used is Pre-Experimental with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of 38 students in one experimental class. The research instrument used consisted of pre-test and post-test questions, totaling 30 multiple choice questions with five answer choices, 24 practice question data bases, questionnaire on the effectiveness of the practice question data base, and interview questions. The results of the study obtained an average score on the pre-test of 28 and the post-test of 94, so it can be concluded that the use of questions practice data base has an effective effect with an N-gain value of 0,91 in the high category. The results of the questionnaire also showed that the use of questions practice data base on the material structure and function of plant tissue received a positive response because it was able to make students think about the interrelationships between concepts and increase students' self-learning motivation.
