Abstract

Tuberculosis adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh kuman Mycobacterium Tuberculosa yang menyerang pada paru-paru sehingga penyakit ini merupakan masalah kesehatan paling serius di Indonesia bahkan dunia. Karena terapi pengobatan tuberculosis membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama, maka untuk meminimalisir tuberculosis yaitu dengan patuh dalam pengobatan sehingga peran petugas kesehatan menjadi faktor pendukung kepatuhan penderita tuberculosis dalam proses pengobatan tersebut. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan peran petugas kessehatan dengan kepatuhan penderitta tuberculosis paru dalam menjalani pengobatan. Metode: Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif survey deskriptif korelasi. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 53 responden menggunakan total sampling dan lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Puskesmas Cimalaka. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dan dilakukan analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan distribusi frekuensi kemudian dilakukan uji Chi-square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan peran petugas kesehatan hampir seluruhnya (86,8%) dalam kategori baik, kepatuhan menjalani pengobatan sebagian besar (77,4%) dalam kategori patuh, dan hubungan antara peran petugas kesehatan dengan kepatuhan penderita tuberculosis paru dalam menjalani pengobatan (α = 0,019). Kesimpulan: Dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara peran petugas kesehatan dengan kepatuhan penderita tuberculosis paru dalam menjalani pengobatan di Puskesmas Cimalaka. Because tuberculosis treatment therapy requires quite a long time, to minimize tuberculosis, namely by being obedient in treatment so that the role of health workers becomes a supporting factor for tuberculosis patient compliance in the treatment process. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between the role of health workers and the compliance of pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers in undergoing treatment. Methods: The design in this study is a quantitative descriptive correlation survey. The number of samples in this study were 53 respondents using total sampling and the research location was carried out at the Cimalaka Health Center. Data was collected using a questionnaire and data analysis was carried out in this study using a frequency distribution and then a Chi-square test was carried out. Results: The results showed that the role of health workers was almost entirely (86.8%) in the good category, most adherence to treatment (77.4%) was in the obedient category, and the correlation between the role of health workers and compliance with pulmonary tuberculosis patients in undergoing treatment ( α = 0.019). Conclusion: In this study it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the role of health workers and compliance with pulmonary tuberculosis patients undergoing treatment at the Cimalaka Health Center.
